'Because He Lives' Live Performance From The Collingsworth Family

Worship along as The Collingsworth Family performs the beloved hymn ‘Because He Lives.’ What a beautiful reminder that all of our sins are forgiven and we have been washed clean in the blood of the Lord.

“Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.”

The Collingsworth Family has been a staple in the Christian music world for years. Time after time, they’ve used their God-given musical talent to help spread His message of love and forgiveness. Through their music ministry, thousands of people have heard the Lord’s praises and blessings through gospel favorites such as ‘At Calvary’ and ‘Blood Of Jesus.’

Today, the family is coming together for a stunning performance of the classic hymn ‘Because He Lives.’ And before the song, hear an incredible testimony from Kim Collingsworth that is sure to touch your heart.

“How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and the joy he gives
But greater still the calm assurance
This child can face uncertain days because He Lives.”

This hymn was a perfect show of love and praise for our King and viewers across the globe agree. One YouTube viewer wrote, “Nothing else can compare, what a statement! Because He Lives!!!”

I couldn’t agree more. How about you?

Hebrews 13:15 “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”

'Sunday Sermons' Anne Wilson Official Music Video

Praise the Lord for His many blessings as Anne Wilson shares the official music video for her single, ‘Sunday Sermons.’

“Every one of those Sunday sermons
Every time that choir would sing
I could hear my Savior calling, telling me how much He loves me
No matter what the world throws at me”

Rising artist Anne Wilson has taken the Christian music scene by storm this year. You may recognize Anne for her viral video performing “What A Beautiful Name” from Hillsong Worship. After she lost her brother in an automobile accident, Anne found comfort in the words.

She performed for the first time at her brother’s funeral. Since that life-changing moment, Anne continues to share her gift with the world.

Today, she’s taking us back to our roots with the powerful words of ‘Sunday Sermons.’

“I know His word is true
It all started with heart stirring, spirit moving Sunday Sermons
Devil gonna try and take me out of that church
But you can’t take the church out of me”

Anne shared the story behind the song with The Christian Beat. Since she was a little girl, Anne remembers sitting in the church pew listening to sermons. But it wasn’t until later in life that she truly understood what they truly meant. “No matter what happens in life – even losing a loved one, I can always go back to that foundation of truth that the Lord planted in me through each of those sermons.”

Psalms 9:10 “And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.”

'What He's Done' Acoustic Performance From Passion Featuring Kristian Stanfill

Listen to this great acoustic performance from Passion of the song ‘What He’s Done’ featuring Kristian Stanfill, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Anna Golden.

“See on the hill of Calvary, my Savior bled for me, my Jesus set me free
Look at the wounds that give me life, grace flowing from His side, no greater sacrifice
What He's done, what He's done, all the glory and the honor to the Son
My sins are forgiven, my future is Heaven, I praise God for what He's done”

What an encouraging song focused on who God is. After this acoustic performance, the group shared about how the song ‘What He’s Done’ was created.

“We were all in Atlanta for a writing camp, writing for Passion, and just so happy that this group happened,” said Kristian Stanfill. “Before we started writing, it was really cool. Jacob and I just started having a conversation about life and family and just some real talk…I felt like that really cracked the door open for just an authentic song of worship. It was really beautiful. Once we were all in there, he sat down and played this chorus, pretty much like you hear it.”

Then Jacob went on to talk about how he came up with the chorus of the song.

“I have a friend who says, ‘I’m trying to be way less of a song writer and way more of a song receiver.’ And that hits me, cause sometimes you do really have to craft and work, and other times, God’s just like, ‘Here you go.’ And that was definitely what was happening that day,” said Jacob. “It was just beautiful, because it just kind of felt like all of us were resonating with what God was doing in the room. It’s always a sweet thing the first time you ever hear a song, and I just really cherish that day, and getting to hear it and writing it with my brothers and my sisters.”

Tasha Cobbs Leonard added her thoughts about the song and how much it means to her.

“I love this song, because a lot of times, we’re moved to write songs about what we need, you know, what we want from Him. But this song is a reminder of what He’s done,” Tasha shared. “You know, sometimes we just need to think back, that if He did it then, He’ll do it again, and just worship Him for who He is.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘What He’s Done’ by Passion today and the song was able to bring you some encouragement.

'Build My Life' Family Band Sings Worship Song

Praise the Lord as this family band performs the Pat Barrett song, ‘Build My Life.’ This 2018 hit, featuring Chris Tomlin, spurred countless covers but this rendition from Sounds LIke Reign is extra special.

‘Worthy of every song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe
We live for You’

Brackin and Lindsay Kirkland make up the talented singing duo, Sounds Like Reign. For years, they have been using their God-given talent to give praise to His Name with hymns such as ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’

Today’s performance is a true family affair as Brackin and Lindsay are joined by two of their sons for this beautiful performance of ‘Build My Life.’

The chorus of ‘Build My Life’ is the perfect reminder that when we put God first, our foundation will be solid as a rock.

‘I will build my life upon
Your love It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken’

God is our fortress and He is the source of all our strength. Put your trust in Him and God will take care of all your worries and burdens. Now, this song is the perfect way to praise His Name.

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.”

'Fake It' Tauren Wells Official Music Video

Check out the official music video for the new song by Tauren Wells called ‘Fake It.’

“I was chasing counterfeits, tryin to find a fix, but all that I was missing was You
My hope was running out until you came around, and showed me
There was nothing to prove, some would say it’s unexplainable, but I know, yeah"

What an awesome and upbeat song that will have you wanting to dance as well as sing along when you hear it! There is so much joy in the song ‘Fake It,’ and it serves as a reminder that true faith matters more than image.

"I know what You can do, You’re changing my altitude, Your love is a whole new mood
Something I can put my faith in, You struck a match in the dark
You’re melting my plastic heart, this is real don’t have to fake it”

Taren Wells describes the song as: “A celebration of the real love of Jesus Christ that sets us free to be everything He has called us to be and nothing we are not. In other words, Jesus did not die for who we pretend to be, Jesus died for who we really are. That means, we don’t have to 'fake It.' We don’t have to fake our feelings, we don’t have to fake our emotions, we don’t have to fake our doubt, we don’t have to fake our belief by wrapping it up in the trappings of tradition and religion. We get to come to Jesus as we are.”

The dancing in the music video is also fantastic and has many people online praising Tauren for his sweet moves.

“Keep glorifying the Lord through song and dance, brother! I love the choreography,” writes one person on YouTube after watching the music video. “You are probably the only Christian artist to put out a fully choreographed music video in who knows how long... if ever. Thanks for giving me my God-glorifying dance fix.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Fake It’ by Tauren Wells today, and may the song serve as a reminder to you that Jesus didn’t die for the image that we project. He died for who we really are. So, there is no impressing him because we are already so loved!

3 Sisters Sing 'A Day Will Come'

Watch these three talented sisters share some encouragement and sing their song ‘A Day Will Come.’

“Through many dangers toils and snares, I have already been
I'm trusting God will use them as a verse in my life's hymn
While I'm singing in the dark it's hard to see the way
But a day will come, in this chapter where the words have cut me to the heart
Though tears have blurred the pages, still, it's just the middle part
Breathless I await the joy, I know will end the play, yes a day will come”

The sisters in the video are Kim Ruppe Sheffield, Heather Ruppe Bennett, and Valerie Ruppe Medkiff. And the three of them make up the musical group called Sisters. Their music conveys the love of Christ, and they are known for their astounding and soaring harmonies.

“We haven’t sung this song in so very long, and we were thinking about it and our prayer is that it would speak to hearts of all of us who are going through hard times and uncertain times,” one of the sisters says at the starts of the video.

She continues: “And we especially want to sing it for dear friends who have lost loved ones in the last few weeks, months, even days. Loved ones who have gone on to be with the Lord. We just want to encourage your heart that even though we have questions now, we don’t understand God’s plan sometimes. But one day when we see Him, it will all make sense, and just being with the Lord is what we are looking forward to.”

Many people were encouraged by the sisters’ performance of ‘A Day Will Come’ and shared their thoughts about the video online.

“I so needed to hear this song! Thank you ladies, and God bless!” wrote one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“Thank you, so needed this encouragement, praise God for His watchful care! You ladies are a blessing, and your music ministers to the heart! God bless you and your families,” another person commented online.

We hope that you enjoyed this beautiful song, and may these three sisters continue to use their music to minister to others.

'Honey In The Rock' Brooke Ligertwood And Brandon Lake Acoustic Performance

Listen to this beautiful acoustic performance by Brooke Ligertwood and Brandon Lake of the song ‘Honey In The Rock.’

“There's honey in the rock water in the stone, manna on the ground no matter where I go
I don't need to worry now that I know, everything I need You've got
There's honey in the rock, praying for a miracle thirsty for the Living Well
Only You can satisfy, sweetness at the mercy seat
Now I've tasted, it's not hard to see, only You can satisfy”

Such an amazing song with a wonderful message! And all the voices and instruments sound incredible together!

‘Honey In The Rock’ is a powerful and soulful anthem declaring the comforting reassurance of God’s provision in the wilderness. There is sweetness to be found in Jesus, and we can find our provision in him. What an encouraging message!

The song is from Brooke Ligertwood’s new album titled Seven, and it features Brandon Lake. The two shared about their collaboration on the song and how it came together seamlessly.

“It really happened within a few hours,” said Brandon.

“Completely separate, that had kind of dropped into both of our lives and on our radars. And then we came together, and this song came about,” shared Brooke about how the message of the song came to her and Brandon around the same time.

Then Brandon went on to talk about how the song reminds him of how Jesus is the rock in his life. “I can think back to growing up. I think it’s all about perspective. But there were many moments growing up we didn’t have a lot. And this song has reminded me how, time and time again, my family has found honey in the rock. The rock being Jesus Christ, and trusting him, even in the hardest seasons.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Honey In The Rock’ today and it was able to uplift your spirit!

Psalm 81:16
But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.

'On Repeat' Hillsong UNITED Official Music Video

Check out the new official music video for the song ‘On Repeat’ by Hillsong UNITED.

“Every time I come running, I find grace on repeat, You welcome me with open arms
No matter where I have been, every time I surrender, every time I fall
I find grace more precious than I did before, so I’m gonna lay my world down

What an incredible song! ‘On Repeat’ was written by Joel Houston, Ben Fielding, Benjamin Hastings, and Aodhan King. It is a song that reminds us that God’s grace and mercy never run out for us, and He will forever be there by our side.

""Here at Your feet, look to the heavens for all I need, I’m gonna sing my heart out
Praise on repeat to the God who’s never given up on me”

“In our lives there’s a parallel of grace being on repeat, and then praise being on repeat as our response to God’s grace. It’s so simple yet profound and encourages me to believe that God’s going to give me the grace, so I’m going to give Him the praise knowing that He’s going to give me the grace again,” shared Joel Houston. “I think that’s true for anybody anywhere, regardless of their story, what season they’re in, or how life looks like - and I pray it never gets lost on us.”

This song is a powerful anthem that proclaims the goodness of God and His faithfulness to us. It reminds us to revel in the unconditional love that God has for us and give Him all the glory and praise that He deserves.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘On Repeat’ by Hillsong UNITED today and it was able to encourage you in some way.

Psalm 106:1 Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

A Cappella Rendition Of 'Victory In Jesus' From The Band Steele

Enjoy this a cappella performance of ‘Victory In Jesus’ from The Band Steele. This classic hymn is the perfect reminder that there is strength in the Name of the Lord.

“I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory
How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning, of His precious blood's atoning
Then I repented of my sins and won the victory”

The Band Steele is comprised of longtime friends Bo Steele and Ben Rubino. Since their debut album in 2017, the Alabama duo has garnered millions of fans.

Today, these two talented friends are leading us in worship with the beloved hymn ‘Victory In Jesus.’ And this a cappella rendition is the perfect way to praise His Holy Name.

“Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood
He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood”

Even when times are tough, we can find comfort in the arms of the Lord. He is our strength when we are weak and our light in the darkness. Hand your worries over to Him and you will find victory each and every time.

1 Peter 1:21 “Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”

'Holy Holy' Evan Craft Acoustic Performance

Watch this beautiful acoustic performance by Evan Craft of his song ‘Holy Holy.’

“All throughout the ages for a thousand generations, day and night and night and day
All heaven sings Your song , so we join with their singing, take every breath we’re breathing
In and out and out and in, it all belongs to You"

What a wonderful song to sing out and worship our Heavenly Father with. The scripture references in this song include Revelation 4:11 and 1 Timothy 1:17.

Evan Craft started his career with YouTube streams, but his impressive songwriting and vocal skills have brought him to the top of the music charts. His recent single, Be Alright, rose to #1 on the charts after rocketing into the top 20 in just three weeks.

"Holy, holy, holy, holy, we're joining in with Heaven’s song to You
We sing Holy, holy, holy, holy, we’re joining in with Heaven's song to You”

Evan also has a heart for the homeless and has raised more than $250,000 for a homeless mission in LA that he co-founded, called Mi Casa.

“My dad started a homeless shelter when I was in high school. He would take us once a week and would share how many of the people were just down on their luck,” shared Evan. “They had medical bills, divorces, and other circumstances that were out of their hands; and they needed a hand up, not a hand out. I practiced Spanish at the rescue mission and learned about the world beyond suburban Los Angeles.”

Evan Craft is such a talented and selfless musician, and we hope he keeps using his talents to bless those around him!

Revelation 4:11 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.

'Me On Your Mind' Matthew West Official Music Video

Check out the official music video for the song ‘Me On Your Mind’ by Matthew West.

“I’ve read the words in red, how you leave the ninety-nine to find the one missing
Feels like that was written with me on your mind, and the prodigal son who ran
Leaving his home behind, the part where the father came running to meet him
Did you say that with me on your mind? Who am I that the king of the world"

Matthew West’s new single ‘Me On Your Mind’ is such a great song with a message that reminds us that God cares for each one of us so much. And Matthew shared his thoughts about the song in a recent interview.

“Have you ever read a scripture and felt like God was speaking directly to you? I have, and that was the inspiration of 'Me on Your Mind.' I read the story of the thief on the cross finding forgiveness in his last breaths and the story of the prodigal son being welcomed back home into the arms of a waiting father, and my heart flooded with this feeling that those stories apply to me,” Matthew said.

"Would give one single thought about my broken heart, who am I that the God of all grace
Wipes the tears from my face and says come as you are, You paid the price
You took the cross, You gave your life, and you did it all with me on your mind”

“There are powerful words written in Psalm 8 that sum up the heartbeat of 'Me on Your Mind.' When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon, and the stars, which You have set in place, what is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them? It's the amazement that the Creator of the universe, the King of the world, would give one single thought about me that touches my heart on a deep, deep level,” he shared. “God used the process of writing this song to bring me to a deeper understanding of the heart of my Heavenly Father, and I'm praying it will do the same for all who hear it."

What a powerful reminder of how much we are loved by our great God!
