“I don't know what it's like to be you
You don't know what it's like to be me
What if we're all the same in different kinds of ways
Can you, can you relate?”
Brothers Luke and Joel Smallbone make up the Christian duo for KING & COUNTRY. This Grammy-winning duo are known for songs such as ‘God Only Knows’ and ‘Priceless.’ They’ve performed for sold-out audiences all of the globe and they do it all to give praise to God’s Holy Name.

Set against the backdrop of the Mojave Desert, just listen as the duo belts out these powerful lyrics.
“We both know what it's like to be hurt
We both know what it's like to feel pain
But I think it's safe to say we're on to better days
Can you, can you relate?”
The brothers shared the heartfelt story behind the song in a special video. “The attribute or emotion that Jesus showed the most in His ministry & His life was compassion. I thought, how do we put that into a song? What does it mean to be empathetic to people that may not have lived the same life we have lived?”
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
Contemporary Christian artist Tauren Wells reminds us to keep our eyes on the Lord with his latest single, ‘Fake It.’
“You're changing my altitude, Your love is a whole new mood
Somethin' I can put my faith in
You struck a match in the dark, You're meltin' my plastic heart
This is real, don't have to fake it”
Tauren Wells rose to fame as a member of the Christian band, Royal Tailor. In 2015, he started out on a solo career and, since that time, he has continued to climb the music charts with hits such as ‘Hills And Valleys’ and ‘When We Pray.’
At just 35 years old, Tauren has made a name for himself in the music industry as a standout Christian artist. He has been nominated for multiple Grammy awards and won three Dove awards, including Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year in 2020.
“It all quit makin' sense, keepin' up appearances
'Cause there ain't no impressing you
You said, "Don't act like it's all good, life ain't Hollywood, no"
Tauren recently spoke to American Songwriter about the message behind the song. “We’ll live our whole life trying to please people who aren’t paying attention to us really.” He goes on to say that none of those things matter to Jesus. “He didn’t die for the image that we project. He died for who we really are. So there’s no impressing him. We’re already loved.”
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraides not; and it shall be given him.”
Listen to this beautiful acoustic performance featuring Elyssa Smith from UPPERROOM singing the song ‘On The Altar.’
“Here’s my life as a sacrifice, I’ll be the incense, the sweetest fragrance
Wholly Yours, consecrated for only You, Lord, just for You Lord
'Cause I’m Your temple, a dwelling place for You, Lord, make my heart a pleasing home for You
Oh, I will live on the altar, oh, You are worth what You asked for
If You’re searching for a heart as You’re reward then I am Yours”
What a beautiful and powerful song with many of the lyrics coming from Psalm 27. The song ‘On The Altar’ reminds us that we, as Christians, are meant to lay our lives down to the Lord and to each other.
Elyssa Smith, the singer in this music video, shared in an interview about how this new song got started.
“This song feels really special to me personally. I started writing it just at home, by myself, spending time with the Lord. I had been reading Matthew where it’s like, ‘if anyone wants to follow me, they need to deny themselves and pick up their cross.’ And I was really convicted and really challenged…am I still living this way? I don’t want to forget about surrender. And I think that’s something that I would say has been a theme for our house at Upperromm – to really lay our lives down and to minister to the Lord. Everything is His,” she said. “I want to be completely the Lord’s. Anything that He asks of me, I want to give Him.
A handful of people online shared their feelings about the song after listening to it.
“Elyssa is just singing from such a deep place of surrender, and it just hits me. You can sense the frankness and commitment of the heart,” one person wrote. “And I believe that's where the Lord ultimately wants to get us to -- a place of brokenness and utter surrender to His will. Thank you for such a soul-searching song! Bless you!”
“Praise God! I so needed to hear this today! Our God is an Awesome God!” another person commented.
We hope that you enjoyed listening to the song ‘On The Altar’ today!
Feel the chills as Celtic Woman performs the classic song, ‘Danny Boy.’ This famous tune was written by Frederic Weatherly in 1913. It is actually set to the tune of ‘Londonderry Air,’ a traditional Irish song.
After writing the song, he had acclaimed vocalist Elsie Griffin lend her voice to the melody. Shortly after, it skyrocketed in popularity becoming one of the most memorable songs of all time.
“Oh, Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling,
From glen to glen, and down the mountainside,
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling,
It's you, it's you must go and I must bide.”
Today, the amazing vocalists of Celtic Woman are putting their own spin on the hymn. This incredible all-female group comes from the creators of Riverdance.
Over the years, Celtic Woman has introduced millions to the sounds of Ireland and, in the process, become a global phenomenon. Their pure tones and hauntingly beautiful harmonies put them in a league all their own.
Today, they are performing a true classic with the iconic words of ‘Danny Boy.’ Just listen as they sing this goosebump-inducing rendition.
“But come ye back when summer's in the meadow,
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow,
‘Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow,
Oh, Danny Boy, oh Danny Boy, I love you so!”
Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

When I die hallelujah by and by, I'll fly away, when the shadows of this life have gone
I'll fly away, like a bird from prison bars have flown, I'll fly away

Worship the Lord with all your heart as The Oak Ridge Boys perform the classic hymn ‘Blessed Assurance.’
This hymn was written in 1873 by Fanny Crosby with music by Phoebe Knapp. The story began when Phoebe was visiting Fanny’s house one day and she played her a tune on the piano.
Phoebe asked Fanny what it sounded like and Fanny immediately replied, ‘Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine!’ They continued to finish the composition and create the hymn that we all know and love today.
“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine;
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood."
The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their unique blend of country music and gospel. This iconic group consists of Duane Allen singing lead vocals, Joe Bonsall singing tenor, William Lee Golden with his baritone voice, and Richard Sterban singing deep bass. Praising my Savior all the day long.”
1 John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:”
