Praise the Lord as country superstar Reba McEntire performs the iconic hymn ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.’
This beloved hymn was written by Wallis Willis around 1865. But the first recording didn’t appear until 1909 by the Fisk Jubilee Singers of Fisk University. That’s when the song truly started to take off and become the classic that we know and love today.
“Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home,
Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home.”
Reba McEntire has been a staple in the country music world for decades. With hits such as ‘Fancy’ and ‘I’m A Survivor,’ Reba has truly earned her name as the ‘Queen Of Country Music.’ Her classic songs and upbeat personality led to millions of fans all across the globe and there’s no sign of slowing down.
Today, she’s at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee for a soul-stirring rendition of ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.’
Just listen as she leads the crowd in worship while belting out these words of love and praise for our King.
“Oh when the saints go marching in,
Oh when the saints go marching in,
Oh Lord, I won't be part of this number,
Oh when the saints go marching in.”
I just love hearing this country legend praise our Lord. From the beautiful lyrics to the perfect harmonies, this performance is one that you don’t want to miss.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.”
Watch this incredible performance by Loren Allred during the Semi-Finals of Britain’s Got Talent singing ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle.
“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough, every single lie
That tells me I will never measure up, am I more than just the sum
Of every high and every low, remind me once again just who I am
Because I need to know, oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak, and you say I am held
When I am falling short, and when I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh, I believe, what You say of me, I believe”
What a beautiful voice Loren has, and what a spectacular performance! There is so much passion and emotion in her voice, and she truly made this song her own while she was singing it. It’s no wonder that she got a standing ovation from the audience and the judges after her song!
“You knocked it out of the park again,” says Amanda, who gave Loren the golden buzzer during her first audition. “What was beautiful was the song, the lyrics, the breath, the control, absolutely everything about it was astonishing.”
“You are an incredible artist with an incredible voice, and we could be looking at the winner of Britain’s Got Talent,” shares David.
Many people online also commented about how wonderful they think Loren Allred is.
“Her voice is out of this world. I could replay this a thousand times and still play it again tomorrow. World-class,” one person wrote on YouTube.
“Loren starts singing and my eyes start welling up. She has that effect! Marvelous,” wrote another person online.
We can’t wait to see where Loren’s voice takes her next!
The 5 sisters of Cimorelli lead us in beautiful worship with the words of ‘Way Maker.’
This powerful song was originally recorded by Nigerian gospel singer, Sinach. Many other artists have covered the song, including contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith. His version of ‘Way Maker’ helped propel the song to the top of the charts and give it widespread recognition.
The touching words remind us all that there is hope in the name of the Lord.
“You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness, my God
That is who You are”
Cimorelli is an incredibly musical family group. The talented group is comprised of five sisters: Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy and Lauren.
Cimorelli has been performing together as a band for over 10 years. As Christians, the sisters enjoy using their God-given talents God to give Him glory. Through the years, they have made many beautiful covers of Christian songs including ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ and ‘Reckless Love’.
Today, they are praising the Lord in the most amazing way with this acoustic performance of the hit song, ‘Way Maker.’
“You are here, touching every heart
I worship You, I worship You
You are here, healing every heart
I worship You, Jesus, I worship, you turning lives around”
What a beautiful display of love and praise for our King. Who else is saying amen right now?

Get ready for all the feels as Matthew West performs his latest single, ‘Before You Ask Her.’ As you hear these words, you will be reminded of the unique bond between father and daughter.
“Will you stay for better or for worse
Will you put her and Jesus first
And always be her happy ever after
Will you let that ring remind you”
Contemporary Christian artist Matthew West has been recording worship music for over two decades. He is a Dove award-winning musician who has given us hits such as ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘Grace Wins.’
Today, he’s sharing a deeply emotional track called ‘Before You Ask Her.’ This song is written from the perspective of a father speaking to his daughter’s potential suitor.
“And even when the hard times find you
It’s the promises we keep that really matter
So, I guess you got some things to ask yourself
Before you ask her, before you ask her”
On Instagram, Matthew wrote about the beautiful message behind the song. “If you know me, you know that there's no greater joy in my life than raising my daughters and witnessing their love for Jesus. My new song, "Before You Ask Her", is a recognition of how much my girls mean to me and how much love and appreciation they deserve.”
Deuteronomy 5:16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you; that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.”
Check out the official music video for this beautiful worship song from Red Rocks Worship called ‘Now Here (The Other Side).’
“Where was the darkness, when hope was restored, where was despair
When my God split the shores, where was defeat when the Lord took a breath
When He stood in pow’r, by the grave that he left, nowhere (nowhere)
Nowhere (nowhere), nowhere is the fear when my king resurrects
Nowhere (nowhere), nowhere (nowhere), nowhere was the doubt
When my king conquered death”
What an incredible song with a wonderful message! “‘Now Here’ is a faith declaration that manages the tension of experience and expectancy in its very title. When Jesus met darkness in the world, it’s only response was to run. Because Jesus was the fundamental manifestation of God’s presence and personhood, everything contrary to that expression had no choice but to yield. 'Now Here' is meant to embolden every believer that the incarnate Christ is amongst us.”
This song from Red Rocks Worship is part of their project titled Things Of Heaven: The Other Side, which dropped earlier this year in April. And many people are loving it and have continued to be impacted by the music that Red Rocks Worship is releasing.
“Wow, this sounds great. Red Rocks, you guys make such delivering and anointed music! Love you guys. Keep on working for the Lord,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.
“Red Rocks, thank you for bringing Jesus back into my life! I now find myself constantly worshiping Him. Such joy back into my life,” writes another person online.
Red Rocks Worship is the worship ministry of the Colorado-based Red Rocks Church that was founded in 2005. The team is comprised of worship leaders and songwriters who have a passion to bring their love of Jesus to people through music.
We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Now Here (The Other Side)’ today!
Listen to this wonderful a cappella performance of the hymn 'Praise To The Lord, The Almighty.'
“Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise him
For he is your health and salvation! Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near
Join me in glad adoration. Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
Sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining! Have you not seen
All that is needful has been sent by his gracious ordaining?”
What a great rendition of this classic hymn! And it is so impressive to see the singer sing all the different parts of the song. The way the parts blend together sound so great!
The singer in this video is David Wesley, and according to his YouTube page, he likes to make videos with music to “excite, inspire, and engage the world in worship.”
'Praise To The Lord, The Almighty' is a beloved hymn that is based on a German hymn published in 1680 by Joachim Neander. It is probably based on a folk tune, and the lyrics paraphrase Psalm 103 and Psalm 150. The hymn was translated to English in 1863 by Catherine Winkworth.
Many people shared online their thoughts of David Wesley’s version of 'Praise To The Lord, The Almighty.'
“I have always loved this hymn. Thank you David for another wonderful arrangement,” one person wrote after watching the video.
“My favorite line from this beautifully poetic hymn is ‘Ponder anew what the Almighty can do.’ Such food for thought. Thank you David Wesley for your modern touch to this old favorite. God bless,” another person commented.
We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of the hymn 'Praise To The Lord, The Almighty' and it was able to bring some joy to your day!
Listen to this wonderful acoustic performance by Bryan and Katie Torwalt of their song ‘Good News.’
“Line by line it was written, hope in every sentence, He was good start to finish
Yes, He was, the words that usher His presence, and tell of the glories of heaven
The earth that still shakes at the mention, yes, it does
I got good news for the broken, for the hurting, He came for you
In your hoping, in your searching, one thing remains true
Jesus is still our Good News”
What an amazing song and one that set the theme for Bryan and Katie Torwalt’s new album. There is so much scripture and so much about Jesus in the songs on their new album, and ‘Good News’ is no exception.
Katie Torwalt shared in an interview a little about the song and how it came to be.
“It took us so long to write this,” she said. “We knew we needed a song about the Good News today, and what it would look like for us today. We really got lost in the Gospels these last couple years. During the pandemic, we were just eating up the Gospels.”
Then she goes on to talk about how they were inspired by Mary realizing that Jesus was alive when he called her name at the tomb. And her recognizing that she no longer had to grieve because there was good news that she had to share with the world.
“That was the kind of good news that we were trying to depict and share through these songs,” Katie said.
We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Good News’ by Bryan and Katie Torwalt and the song was able to bring you encouragement and joy!
John 20: 17-18
17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
Check out this wonderful a cappella performance of ‘Feeling Good’ by a gentlemen’s choir from Virginia. They do a great job and the lead singer sounds just like Michael Bublé!
“Birds flying high, ou know how I feel, sun in the sky
You know how I feel, breeze driftin' on by, you know how I feel
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life
For me, and I'm feeling good, I'm feeling good”
The all-male singing group in the video is called The Virginia Gentlemen, and this lovely performance of ‘Feeling Good’ by Michael Bublé was done at their 2022 Spring Concert. Each member looks great in their bowties, and they all sound amazing together!

In the video, all of the singers look like they are having such a great time performing together. They are a lively and talented bunch, and their passion for singing can clearly be seen while they are performing on stage. All of their practice and dedication paid off, because they put on a great show!

Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
Check out this wonderful live performance from the Gaither Vocal Band of the song ‘Hide Me Thou.’
“Oh, then I cried, oh, Rock of ages, hide Thou me
Sometimes I feel discouraged and I think my works in vain
I'm tempted often to murmur to grumble and complain, oh but then I think of Jesus
And all He's done for me, then I cry, oh Rock of ages, hide Thou me
Oh, Rock of ages, hide Thou me, there is no other refuge
Can save, Lord but Thee, and through this dark world, I've wandered far, far from Thee”
What amazing vocals and harmonies from the Gaither Vocal Band! Their voices are so warm and smooth, and the way that they sing the lyrics of the song are so wonderful to listen to. What a blessing their musical talents are to so many people!
“Love it. Can't get any better than this,” one person writes online after watching the video.
“One of my favorite songs by this amazing band,” another person comments.
This classic hymn reminds us that God never said we would be exempt from difficult times. However, He did promise to be with us every step of the way. So, instead of complaining about why life is so hard, and why God hasn’t eased our discomfort, we should be taking refuge in Him. He is our shelter from any storm, and He is the provider of our peace.
We hope that you enjoyed listening to the Gaither Vocal Band perform the song ‘Hide Me Thou’ and it was able to bring you some encouragement and joy.
Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Listen to this incredible acoustic performance by TAYA of Hillsong UNITED of her song ‘All Eyes On You.’
“Blessed Son of God, You’re with me in this place
Seated so far above, yet with me in this place
You are holy, so holy, what more can I say?
You are holy, so holy, I can’t look away, I can’t look away”
What a beautiful voice and wonderful performance. And the song is just so peaceful and intimate.
TAYA shares in an interview that the song was inspired by a message that she heard on Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4 and 5.
“‘All Eyes On You,’ is based on the fact that Jesus changed everything for us 2000+ years ago," says TAYA. "Because of His death, His body broken for us and His resurrection, we are invited into commune with Him. We are not knocked down or destroyed but rather we are allowed the privilege of standing in His Presence, of beholding Him and joining in the song that started long before we got here and will continue long after we leave this place. What a privilege it is to get to stand in Your presence Jesus, all eyes on You, singing this song that is just a new version of the ancient one set long ago, 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.’”
We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘All Eyes On You’ today and the song was able to usher you into a sweet moment of worship to our Heavenly Father.
Revelation 4:8
Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”

Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Listen to this moving performance by Celtic Thunder of the song ‘Kindred Spirits.’
“The candlelight is fading as I gently kneel and say, an Ave for my mother
As her spirit slips away, away to join my father and to share eternity
We call them kindred spirits now they will forever be
So now they're reunited, smiling down from up above, as fondly we remember
The old house they filled with love, how even through the hard times
They were close as close could be, just like the kindred spirits they will forever be”
What a beautiful and touching song! This performance was filmed live in Kansas City back in 2011. And the singer performing the song ‘Kindred Spirits’ is Emmet Cahill.
This song was Emmet’s first solo song in the group. It was written by Phil Coulter who helped start Celtic Thunder, and he gave it to Emmet sing.
The song is about a child losing their mother who is now joining their father in heaven. The child sings about all of the good times that they all had together and how the parents are now "kindred spirits" together forever, never to part again.
You can really feel the emotion coming from Emmet Cahill when he sings the song. He is very talented, and he puts on a wonderful performance.
“Beautifully done, a sweet voice for a heartfelt song,” writes one person on YouTube after watching the video.
“I love this song and his voice is amazingly beautiful,” comments another person online.
This year, Celtic Thunder are setting off on their biggest tour of North America to date, 75 cities in the US & Canada. And on their website, they share about what you can expect from their 2022 North American tour.
“The show features soloist Ryan Kelly, Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, and Damian McGinty along with the Celtic Thunder Band in Solo and Ensemble Numbers that pays homage to their Celtic roots,” reads their website. “Each magical performance of Celtic Thunder ‘Ireland’ offers something for the entire family, and will enthrall their legions of fans that has gained Celtic Thunder the mantle of Top World Music Act in Billboard four times over!”
We hope that you enjoyed listening to this performance of ‘Kindred Spirits’ today!
Check out this wonderful video of one man singing a worship filled version of the hymn ‘Jesus Paid It All.’
“I hear the Savior say, thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray, find in Me thine all in all.
Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow”
What a wonderful rendition of this classic hymn! In the video, Brian Nhira is singing while Kevin Rooney is playing the guitar. They both are so talented!
“From his show choir performances in high school to his time as a member of the College Singers at Oral Roberts University, Brian Nhira’s life has and continues to be defined by his love for music,” reads the bio on his YouTube page. “Nhira garnered international attention when he captivated audiences with his riveting blind audition on NBC’s Emmy Award winning show ‘The Voice,’ and successfully navigated his way to the live rounds of the hit talent competition. Nhira's recent music has charted on the Global Top 100 Pop Songs and his videos have racked up over 100 million collective views.”
And when it comes to ‘Jesus Paid It All,’ this popular hymn has stood the test of time and still inspires people today. It was written back in 1865 by Elvina M. Hall, and the song celebrates the total sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross to save us from sin.
Elvina M. Hall was a 47-year-old widow, and one Sunday morning, her thoughts began to wander while sitting in a choir loft at the Monument Methodist Episcopal Church in Baltimore, Maryland. A poem came to her and she decided to write it down on the blank flyleaf of her hymnal. John Grape, the church organist, ended up writing the music for the poem, and the two worked together to create the hymn that we all know and love today!
We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘Jesus Paid It All’ and it was able to bring you some encouragement!
