2 Sisters Sing Chilling Duet Of 'Oceans' And 'You Make Me Brave'

Check out this wonderful music video of two sisters singing a chilling duet of the songs 'Oceans' and 'You Make Me Brave.'

“You call me out upon the waters, the great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery, in oceans deep my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your Name, and keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise my soul will rest in Your embrace, for I am Yours and You are mine”

Sisters Cassandra and Callahan are 9 years apart, but they both have a love for singing and have beautiful voices to share with the world. In this music video, Cassandra, the younger of two sisters, starts off singing first while she stands beside the ocean. Then her older sister, Callahan, joins in with singing the harmony, and the pair walk hand in hand beside the water while making lovely music together.

The two are also coordinating in white outfits in the music video while the sun sets on them in the stunning location. After singing 'Oceans' by Hillsong UNITED for a bit, the sisters start to sing out ‘You Make Me Brave’ by Amanda Cook from Bethel Music.

“As Your love, in wave after wave, crashes over me, crashes over me, for You are for us,
You are not against us, champion of Heaven, You made a way for all to enter in”

The lyrics in these songs remind us all about God’s deep and boundless love for us. His love is never-ending and His grace is unconditional. We are His children, and He cares for each of us so much.

We hope that this beautiful melody from Cassandra and Callahan of the songs 'Oceans' and 'You Make Me Brave' was able to encourage you and uplift your spirits today!

The Detty Sisters Sing Worship Song 'When You Walk Into A Room'

Check out this sweet music video of the Detty family singing the worship song ‘When You Walk Into A Room’ together.

“When You walk into the room everything changes, darkness starts to tremble
At the light that You bring, and when You walk into the room every heart starts burning
And nothing matters more than just to sit here at Your feet and worship You
We worship You, we love You, we'll never stop, we can't live without You, Jesus
We love You and we can't get enough, all this is for You, Jesus”

In the music video, a young girl walks into the room and starts singing and dancing. Then one of her sisters joins her in the room followed by their mother, and all three of them sing and harmonize together. And their voices are so lovely!

Later, the trio are seen singing around a piano. What a beautiful time of worship for this family.

“Hey y'all! Here is our music video to the song ‘When You Walk Into The Room.’ This song is off of our album titled ‘Freedom.’ We hope you enjoy, God Bless!” writes the family in the caption of the YouTube video.

The song ‘When You Walk Into A Room’ is from Bryan & Katie Torwalt’s album titled Kingdom Come that was released in 2013. The lyrics of the song remind us that the presence of Jesus causes darkness to be defeated and hopelessness to vanish. Like it says in John 12:46 – “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”

We hope that you enjoyed watching this beautiful worship performance from the Detty family of the song ‘When You Walk Into A Room.’ Let it encourage you today and uplift your spirits!

13-Year-Old Sings Heavenly Rendition Of 'Angel' By Sarah McLachlan

It never gets old hearing young Cormac Thompson. In this video, the 13-year-old sings a heavenly rendition of “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan.

Cormac begins singing the most pure and sweet melody. He has a precious voice that is easy to listen to. He hits high notes effortlessly. As Cormac sings the chorus, it is like he is soaring. The melody is absolutely stunning and the young voice goes perfectly with this song. He has the sweetest accent as he sings. Cormac sings with his heart and with poise. He is emotional and intentional while he shares this tender message. There is even a video clip of a bird flying away. The chorus says:

In the arms of the angel, Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, And the endlessness that you feel
You are pulled from the wreckage Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel May you find some comfort here

As he finishes the performance bird feathers float down dramatically. It is a wonderful rendition. Hearing this young man’s voice reminds us of the beauty and the glory that we are called to give our Savior Jesus. He is over all things, including the angels. We can reflect on the many ways that the Lord has protected us and loved ones and that He has ministered to us through angels. We can remember that God is always with us and that as innocent and pure as this performance was, our Lord is more so. He loves us and listening to the voice He created from this little boy brings us such joy.

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:11-12

Closer to You!

A Cappella Men Of Home Free Sing 'From Here To The Moon And Back'

It is always amazing to hear voices harmonize together. In this video, acapella men of Home Free sing, “From here to the Moon and Back.”

At the start of this video, a group of five men stand in a circle as a music video plays out with a little girl and a teddy bear. The first singer is a bass and his voice has a nice sultry sound. As they sing, we see the little girl holding the bear as she sits on a dock by a lake. The men are singing about how much they love their little girl.

Suddenly, a female singer comes in singing in the most beautiful country voice and begins soloing as the little girl cooks with the bear and reads to the bear. The background harmonies are incredible. Then the female vocalist plays a violin solo. The precious clips of the little girl are heartwarming.

The little girl then grows up and takes the teddy bear with her and eventually gives it to her son. It is the most precious music video with talented vocals. This video causes you to think about your own loved ones and how special family is. Sometimes there is a special item like the teddy bear that reminds us of the love that a person has or had for us. This video of incredible vocals reminds us of those sweet gifts that mean the world because they represent the love that someone has for us.

In a similar way the Lord has given us His Holy Spirit and the Bible to remind us that He loves us and He is always with us. We can cherish these gifts and remember Him through them each day.

"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

'The Lord's Prayer (It's Yours)' Matt Maher Official Music Video

Check out the official music video for Matt Maher’s new song 'The Lord's Prayer (It's Yours).'

“Father let your kingdom come Father let your will be done On Earth as in Heaven
Right here in my heart, Father let your kingdom come Father let your will be done
On Earth as in Heaven, right here in my heart, give us this day, our daily bread
Forgive us, forgive us, as we forgive the ones who sinned against us, forgive them
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
Let your kingdom come, Father let your kingdom come holy, holy”

‘The Lord's Prayer (It's Yours)’ is a powerful song, and it is the third new single for 2022 that Matt Maher has released. The song was written by Brian Fowler, Jacob Sooter, and Matt Maher, and it is a fresh new tune to the prayer that Jesus taught us.

“This song is special to me because of what it references,” Matt Maher shared. “Words left by Jesus to say - foundational words to base a practice of spirituality on. I generally find myself needing to return to ‘the basics’ of my faith. I tend to overcomplicate things in my heart and in my soul. It's simple. This prayer reminds me of that. I pray it every day with my family, and it always hits my heart in a different way. So, if you need to go back to the basics, you can join billions of believers in echoing these words in your life and allow them to resonate."

What an upbeat and wonderful song full of biblical truth! We hope that you enjoyed listening to 'The Lord's Prayer (It's Yours)' by Matt Maher today and it was able to encourage you in some way. May the Lord’s prayer always bring us back to the basics of our faith and move our hearts every time we recite it.

Redeemed Quartet Sings 'The Old Rugged Cross'

Praise the Lord as the four gentlemen from the Redeemed Quartet sing the classic hymn ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’ This beautiful song is the perfect reminder that there is hope and salvation in the Name of the Lord.

“On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross
The emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain”

Josh and Caleb Koble and Ben and Nate Duncan make up the Redeemed Quartet. These two sets of brothers have been friends for years but now they have taken that friendship to a whole new level. This talented quartet uses their God-given voices to sing praises to His Name with stunning covers and inspiring originals.

Today, they are at the Pokagon Methodist Episcopal Church in Pokagon, Michigan for a very special performance of ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’

This church is actually the very same church where the songwriter, George Bennard, performed the hymn for the very first time.

“So I'll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it some day for a crown”

What an incredible moment to witness these young men honor our Lord in such a beautiful way. Who else is singing along right now to this beloved hymn?

Romans 10:9 “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

Matthew West Performs 'Day One' In Square

Check out this video of Matthew West performing his song ‘Day One’ live in a public square in Tennessee.

“Well, I wish I had a short term memory, wish the only thing my eyes could see
Was the future burning bright right in front of me, but I can't stop looking back
Yeah, I wish I was a perfect picture of somebody who's never not good enough
I try to measure up but I mess it up and I wish I wasn't like that
I wish I wasn't wishing anymore, wish I could remember that nobody's keeping score
I'm tired of throwing pennies in a well, I gotta do something, here goes nothin'”

Matthew West was recently in Franklin, Tennessee where he performed songs by request from his fans.

“Thank you to my friend in Franklin who requested to hear ‘Day One’ live from the Square a few weeks ago!” Matthew wrote in the caption of this YouTube video. “I wrote this song as a reminder to not spend your days analyzing your past or stressing over your mistakes, but instead remember that He has a plan. Every day is Day One of the rest of your life!”

What an inspiring message and one worth remembering! The song title was actually inspired by one of Matthew West's favorite Bible passages: Lamentations 3:22-23, which reads, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His Mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning."

"In those words, there is a promise for everybody to remember that each morning God resets His mercy for us,” Matthew shares. “It's like hitting refresh on your computer every once in a while. I get that image when I think about that passage. Every single morning with the rising of the sun, His mercy is new. The faithful love of the Lord never ceases."

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Day One’ by Matthew West today!

Check out this video clip of Elvis Presley performing a gospel medley featuring the songs ‘Saved’ and ‘Up Above My Head.’

“I want to soothe my my heart, I want to ease my mind
I want to move my shoes and see what I can find

But now I've found that light that's gonna save my soul”

The king of rock-and-roll is such an incredible entertainer! And these fun and toe-tapping gospel numbers just make you want to get up and clap along to the beat!

This gospel medley that includes 'Saved' And 'Up Above My Head' was part of a TV special from 1968 called Elvis. When it comes to the origin of these two songs, 'Up Above My Head' was first recorded in 1941 by The Southern Sons, a vocal group formed by William Langford of the Golden Gate Quartet.

And ‘Saved’ was written by Leiber and Stoller. It was first recorded by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer LaVern Baker in 1960, and the song is written from the perspective of someone who had lived a fast life but is then saved and is now standing on a corner preaching to the passers-by.

We hope that you enjoyed this throwback video of Elvis Presley giving a great performance of these gospel classics!

'Long Time Coming' David Phelps Official Music Video

Check out this music video of David Phelps performing ‘Long Time Coming.’

“Will somebody please tell me how did I end up in this crazy place?
There must be something wrong with this mirror 'cause I don't recognize my own face
Well I guess I'm just a modern day prodigal son, but You're looking at me like I'm a chosen one
With Your arms open wide, now I've lost all my pride and I'm yours, I'm yours”

What a wonderful performance of this great song! The video excerpt was taken from the live concert filming of No More Night: David Phelps Live! in Birmingham, and it was filmed at the Alabama Theatre.

“What a joy! Lyrics, team vocals, the band and the location worked together,” writes one person on YouTube after watching the music video. “Good one!”

“Gifted is not the word I'm looking for. Perhaps chosen and anointed would be better. Wow!” comments another person, in awe of the musical talents of David Phelps.

When it comes to his music, David Phelps shared his thoughts about what he hopes his music brings to others.

“For me, music is a vehicle,” he said. “Though that vehicle can be wonderful in and of itself, I find it is best suited as transportation for a message. And every message is wrapped in emotion—passion, anger, resolve, revenge, hope, need—take your pick. Early on I was drawn to the emotional connection that I was able to make with listeners. There is power and responsibility in that. So, I’ve decided that if I can leave my audience more hopeful than before the song began, then that is my goal. If a song can inspire, sign me up!”

We hope that this performance of ‘Long Time Coming’ by David Phelps has left you feeling hopeful and encouraged!

'There Is Freedom' Live Performance From Josh Baldwin

Listen to this wonderful live performance of ‘There Is Freedom’ from Josh Baldwin.

“When I'm walkin' through the valley, Your presence is around me, 'cause nothin'
Stands between me and my God, and the fear that was my prison is no longer where I'm livin'
'Cause nothin' stands between me and my God, there's no place I go that He is not
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, we'll be dancin' through the darkness
'Cause we believe it, every stronghold has to break at the name of Jesus
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom”

Bethel Music singer/songwriter and worship leader Josh Baldwin has released his new single ‘There is Freedom.’ And it is a great song that celebrates what Jesus has done for us on the cross. The writers of the song include Josh Baldwin, Ethan Hulse, and Bryan Fowler.

“I can’t wait for you all to hear this song. It has been an anthem in our home over the past few months and we’re ready for the rest of the world to hear it,” Josh writes on social media.

The singer also shared a bit about the song on the Bethel Music website. “‘There Is Freedom’ is about the freedom that is found in Jesus as He stands in the gap for us. Our valley’s want to keep us from calling on His name, but when we do, strongholds break, hearts are set free, and walls come down. The truth is, there is nowhere we can go that He hasn't already been, and there is nothing standing between us and God because where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.”

We hope that you were encouraged after listening to ‘There Is Freedom’ today!

Romans 6:22
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

'Lord, I'm Coming Home' Classic Performance From Voices Of Gaither

Check out this classic performance from Voice of Gaither of the song ‘Lord, I’m Coming Home.’

“I’ve wandered far away from God, now I’m coming home;
The paths of sin too long I’ve trod, Lord, I’m coming home.
Coming home, coming home, nevermore to roam; open wide Thine arms of love,
Lord, I’m coming home. I’ve wasted many precious years, now I’m coming home;
I now repent with bitter tears, Lord, I’m coming home.”

This classic hymn was composed by William Kirkpatrick, who was born in Ireland but later immigrated to the United States where he spent most of his life. This song is based on the story of the prodigal son as found in Luke 15.

In this video, the Voice of Gaither are singing live at the Grove Park Inn Resort in Asheville, NC back in 1999. Many people online shared about how nice it is to watch these old recordings and be encouraged by the musical talents of this group.

“These gatherings are such a blessing. It's good that we can still enjoy and be blessed by these years after,” one person writes on YouTube after watching the video.

“As I listen to this, and as the video spans the Homecoming friends, I see so many who have made their journey Home where our Father is waiting with open arms,” comments another person online. “There is also some of us who are still on this earth who haven't finished what God has for us to do. Let us not labor in vain, but let us be always witnessing and praying for the lost and with those who are not living in God's will that they can sing boldly ‘Lord I'm Coming Home’. God bless you all as you sing of His wonderful love for us!”

To know that one day we will meet our Maker is a hopeful and comforting truth. Until then, may we strive to keep living for the Lord and giving all glory to Him!

Family Band Performs “Where The Soul Of Man Never Dies”

Take a break from the chaos of the day, and enjoy this beautiful rendering of a classic hymn as  The Brandenberger Family (and Friends) perform “Where The Soul of Man Never Dies.” Written by William Matthew Golden during his 8-year stint in prison, the story reminds listeners of the hope of Heaven, where sorrows are no more.

Copyrighted over 100 years ago in 1914, the hymn has been recorded by several artists, including: Ricky Skaggs and Tony Rice, The Oak Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, and others. But, here sitting in a tight circle between the kitchen and family area of a modern-day home, 11 members of The Brandenberger Family play and sing the song of reassurance.

Here are a few lines from William Golden’s song:

To Canaan's land, I'm on my way
Where the soul of man never dies
My darkest night will turn to day
Where the soul of man never dies

While folding chairs and instrument cases are scattered about the space, there is no hi-tech equipment. These musicians, most in their sock feet, know their parts to perfection. They don’t need a fancy studio to create praise-worthy harmonies. In addition to the outstanding vocals, eight individuals play stringed instruments, including a double bass, guitars, a mandolin, a banjo, and a fiddle. It really is music for the soul!

The Brandenberger Family (and Friends) share bluegrass videos on their YouTube Channel, which has 29.5 thousand subscribers. Notice the comments from appreciative listeners. They come from all over the world: France, Norway, Ireland, England, Switzerland, and more.

There are so many things to love about this video. First is the amazing quality of music in a genre that is not considered to be “mainstream.” There’s the sweet sight and impact of a family sharing time and talent in a common space—and enjoying it! Of course, and most importantly, is the praise and worship of God, The Brandenberger Family inviting all of us to join them!

“Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.” James 5:13

Crowder Sings Live Rendition Of 'How Great Thou Art'

Worship along as Crowder performs a live rendition of the hymn ‘How Great Thou Art.’

This classic hymn was originally written in 1885 by Swedish evangelist, Rev. Carl Boberg. He is credited with setting the words to a Swedish folk melody.

The hymn then became translated to German, to Russian, and then into English by English missionary Stuart Hine. He was inspired while working in Ukraine and hearing a congregation sing the song in Russian.

However, ‘How Great Thou Art' did not gain worldwide popularity until George Beverly Shea performed it on a Billy Graham crusade in 1957.

Now the iconic words are performed in churches all across the globe.

"O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed”

Crowder is one of the most famous names in modern day worship music. Also known as, David Crowder, you may recognize him for the hit Christian anthems “How He Loves” and “O Praise Him.” Since launching his solo career in 2012, Crowder has released four full-length albums and continues to use his God-given talents to lead us in worship.

Today, he is at Austin City Limits Live in Austin, Texas for an incredible performance of ‘How Great Thou Art’ with Chidima.

“Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art"

I always love hearing the classics and it’s such a blessing to watch this crowd worship our Lord together.

Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

“The Name above the battle, the undefeated Savior stands with me
The fighter for the weary, the Lamb of God, the lionhearted King
The glory of the Father, the power of the undefeated Name, the King of every kingdom
The champion of heaven overcame, over every broken heart
Hope is rising through the dark over every weary soul, breathe miracles”

What a beautiful and powerful song! And the harmonies in the song are wonderful to listen to! Red Rocks Worship did such a great job putting this one together.

‘Breathe Miracles (The Other Side)' is part of Red Rocks Worship’s latest project titled Things Of Heaven: The Other Side. Each new recording was captured in an intimate setting with the group offering their own ideas, giving them an opportunity to organically collaborate like never before.

The songs on this album bring hope and remind us that God is moving and will continue to do so.

“These are songs for people to put in their toolbox,” shared Red Rocks Worship member Tyler Roberts. “These are tools for people to fight the enemy with. And these are songs to speak and to sing out and to experience the presence of the Lord when you don’t know what else to say, when you don’t really understand.”

We hope that listening to ‘Breathe Miracles (The Other Side)' was able to bring you some encouragement today!

Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

'Be Unto Me' Bryan And Katie Torwalt At New Song Cafe

Listen to this beautiful new song by Bryan and Katie Torwalt called ‘Be Unto Me.’

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom
Blessed are those who mourn, they shall find comfort
Blessed are the meek, there’s an inheritance
Blessed are those who thirst, they shall be filled
Be unto me according to Your word, be unto me according to Your word”

What a wonderful song full of so much scripture and truth. When talking about how ‘Be Unto Me’ came about, Bryan and Katie Torwalt said that they started to sing out The Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 when they were starting to write this song.

“And then all of a sudden, Katie started to sing out the prayer that Mary prayed when the angel came to her. And she said, ‘Be unto me, according to your word,’” shared Bryan. “It just became this song that was full scripture. And in the room, in the moment, it really impacted us.

“There’s so much pressure sometimes to say something that has never been said or to use language that’s never been used. And really, what we seek after, especially with worship, is just saying something when it needs to be said, more than anything else,” said Katie. “And especially this scripture and that prophetic part of it, of just being like, this is for such a time as this. And when we came across this song and were talking about that scripture, that’s how it felt to us.”

What an amazing way for this song to come about! They lyrics in the song are powerful and are “such a primary part of the way Jesus lived and what he expressed as valuable,” as Katie said in this video. We hope that you were encouraged after listening to ‘Be Unto Me’ today!
