What a wonderful and heartwarming song about the love story of Bill and Gloria Gaither. The lyrics tell of their life and how they have seen the years pass by together while still very much in love.

Bill is singing 'Tho' Autumn's Coming On' at the piano with his wife by his side. The two look lovingly at each other while pictures of their life pass by on the screen. The pictures show their wedding day, the years when they were raising their babies, and then moments with their grown children and grandchildren.

As Bill is performing this song live at the Gaither Studios in Alexandria, IN, a handful of people are surrounding the couple at the piano and looking fondly at them and their legacy. Many even have tears in their eyes.

'Strongholds' Chris Tomlin Acoustic Performance

Check out this acoustic performance by Chris Tomlin of his new song ‘Strongholds.’

What a powerful and uplifting song! ‘Strongholds’ was written by Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio, and Ed Cash, and the scripture references that the lyrics were influenced by are Isaiah 54:17 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

For the music video, Chris Tomlin and his band are performing ‘Strongholds’ in front of people in a room where everyone is sitting on couches and enjoying the worship music together. They are all soaking in the moment and reflecting on the words of the song that remind us all about how the battle is the Lord’s.

'It Is Well' David Phelps Sings Classic Hymn

Christian singer David Phelps leads us in worship with the iconic words of ‘It Is Well.’

This beloved hymn was written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. After Horatio lost all four of his daughters, he wrote down these words as a testament to God.

The lyrics are a reminder that God is with us through the good times and the bad.

Suddenly, Larry Gatlin begins to sing, “The God of the How and When.” He cries out to God, asking for the help of the Lord even in feeling inadequate to lead all of these people. He declares his dedication to glorify the Lord and prepares to lead the people. It is an emotional and powerful moment as Larry hits incredible vocal notes at the end.  

Maybe you are feeling insecure about a task or a calling that the Lord has placed on your own life. As we view this confidence in God, may Joshua remind us that it is not based on what we can do but based on the perfect Lord who we serve. 

He is unstoppable and able to do more than we could ever ask or imagine for His glory. May we always remember to lean on Him and not our own strength as He gives us positions of leadership like Joshua.

Carrie Underwood Sings 'Go Rest High On That Mountain' To Honor Vince Gill

Carrie Underwood sings a heartfelt rendition of ‘Go Rest High On That Mountain’ in honor of Vince Gill.

‘Go Rest High On That Mountain’ was made famous by Vince back in the 1990s. He started writing the song back in 1989 after the death of fellow country artist Keith Whitley.

Despite being inspired to write down the lyrics, it would take years before Vince was able to finally finish the special tune. Once the song was released, it quickly climbed to the top of the music charts.

‘Go Rest High On That Mountain’ went on to win 2 Grammy awards and the Country Music Association's Song of the Year award in 1996. Over the years, the lyrics of the song have provided peace and comfort to many hearts around the world.

Go to heaven a-shoutin'
Love for the Father and the Son.”

Today, Carrie Underwood is putting her own spin on this Vince Gill classic for the CMT Giants special.

Carrie became a household name after winning the fourth season of American Idol back in 2005. She won over the hearts of America with covers of songs such as Bonnie Raitt's ‘I Can't Make You Love Me’ and ‘Bless The Broken Road’ from Rascal Flatts.

After her win, she quickly climbed the country charts and made a solid name for herself in the country music world. It’s been 16 years since that momentous audition and Carrie is still using her gift to touch our hearts.
