We can all take something from Amy’s song and put it into action. While we may not be able to create world peace, we can show the love of Jesus by being his hands and feet when the opportunity comes in our own lives. Maybe it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen, inviting lonely neighbors to dinner, or showing kindness to a stranger.

As children, we thought the best things in life were wrapped in shiny boxes topped with a perfect red bow. Now that we’re grown up, we know it’s things like peace, hope, and love. It’s special moments like being surrounded by friends and family. It’s having our health and a strong relationship with Jesus too. Those are the best gifts that don’t come perfectly wrapped.
