'The Anchor' Crowder Acoustic Performance

Worship along as Crowder performs an acoustic rendition of his single, ‘Anchor.’ This inspiring tune to the perfect reminder that our strength rests in the arms of the Lord.

“There's an anchor in the rage of the storm
When the walls are closing in, in the darkness all alone
Just praying for the daylight, peace for the soul
There is grace for the morning when you feel like letting go”

Crowder is one of the most famous names in modern day worship music. Also known as, David Crowder, you may recognize him for the hit Christian anthems “How He Loves” and “O Praise Him.” Since launching his solo career in 2012, Crowder has released four full-length albums and continues to use his God-given talents to lead us in worship.

Today, he is at New Song Cafe for a special performance of his latest song, ‘Anchor.’ And after this spirit-filled performance, hear the story behind the words and how to play this song on your own, at home.

“There's an anchor holding time in His hands
A Rock you can stand on, mercy without end
Love that's eternal that bore all our sin
A King that is coming, The Great I AM”

There are times in our lives when each of us feels weak or that they cannot carry on. These are the moments where it is so important to turn your eyes to Jesus and let Him shoulder the burden.

Let His strength run through you and there will be no obstacle too big to face.

Isaiah 33:2 “O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for you: be you their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.”

You Are Gods Choice

You are not a mistake
you are not a coincidence
you just happened to be one of the chosen that the odds are against
but you must remain dominant in a hostile environment
because within your mind, body and soul
is Infinite intelligence
So be the solar controller cause like the sun you are to be dominant as you are born brilliant-ingenious-magnificent
and even if you don't comprehend it, God knows that you're relevant
You went down the wrong path, now try the path of knowledge
with no apology for your new ideology, theology
cause then you will see, clearly now, the rain is gone
the pain is a thorn because your a rose
you were left for dead, but Gods child arose
Faith is when you cant see him
intuition is when you hear his voice
Do your thing God!
Told me to tell you...that you are his choice!
Seeking people of the universe, this is yours!

'See Me Through It' Brandon Heath Audio Video

Listen to this new upbeat song called ‘See Me Through It’ from Brandon Heath and be encouraged by the truth that it shares!

“Things are getting real, Jesus take the wheel, only way I’m getting to the other side
Days are getting dark, life’s a little hard, blinded, but I’m tryin not to lose sight
I don’t got this, I know you got this, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I’ll believe it"

What a joyful and uplifting song ‘See Me Through It’ is, and it is definitely a song that you could listen to over and over again! It is a great reminder of God’s faithfulness and how He sees us through every trial and hardships.

"Before I see it, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you’re gonna see me through it
If anybody can you can do it, God I know in the trial and the pain
Fire and the rain, You’re gonna see me through it”

Brandon Heath wrote ‘See Me Through It’ along with fellow songwriters Kyle Williams, Ran Jackson, and Heather Morgan. Brandon recently shared some of his thoughts about the song and the meaning behind it.

“We all walk through difficult seasons in our lives. That’s definitely nothing new, but one thing that is particularly unique about right now is that we all seem to have a very similar challenge. And for some of us, it feels like rock bottom. But, we can know what Rock we’re standing on, and He’s not going anywhere,” Brandon says. “No matter how lost we feel or how difficult things get, He sees us where we are, and He’s going to see us through it.”

Nothing is impossible with God, and it is songs like this that can help us remember that important truth. We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘See Me Through It’ today and it was able to bring joy to your heart!

Splashing in the puddles after the rain, will I ever see them again?"

At the start of the video, Jon Petersen, the father of the family, starts off singing while playing the guitar. His family is gathered around him with their instruments.

Slowly, others join in to play along and his wife, Karen, joins him with a lovely harmony. Once all the family members are playing, the music sounds so full and beautiful!

Bringing back the sunshine once again, I've often wondered why You want me

He and mom would sing us to sleep as little kids and ‘In You Came’ was heard most nights in the Petersen household. Hope you all are blessed by it!”
