Our daughter. March 2007, she went into unexpected renal failure. She went through hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. She spent her 13th birthday training on how to use the peritoneal machine at home. In the fall, one of her kidneys began to function
on its own enough to take her off dialysis... and the day before Thanksgiving 2007, the peritoneal catheter was removed. This is her May 2008 Pointe solo and she is doing great! God is GOOD!

I ran into the person who caused the fire yesterday (8-24-2020) I always wanted to sit down with him and talk about all the reasons he felt he needed my dad's safe. I didn't ask him but maybe one of these days I will get the chance to explain to him that he gave us more than he took. To forgive isn't always easy but I have forgiven him and whomever else helped him. May he find peace.
