Orchestra Performs Soul-Stirring Rendition Of '10,000 Reasons' By Matt Redman

If you don’t think you’ve heard a better version of 10,000 Reasons, you don’t want to miss this video as an orchestra performs a soul-stirring rendition of 10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman. I don’t know about you, but it’s one of my absolute favorite songs.

When Matt first wrote the song, he said he had written it within an hour after reading Psalms 103.

He said, ‘If you wake up one morning and you cannot think of a reason to bring God some kind of offering of thanks or praise, then you can be sure there’s something wrong at your end of the pipeline and not his. We live beneath an unceasing flow of goodness, kindness, greatness, and holiness, and every day we’re given reason after reason why Jesus is so completely and utterly worthy of our highest and best devotion.’

I never imagined I could bless the Lord until I heard this song. It makes me want to praise God from the rooftops. It fills me with love, reverence, and so much gratitude that the Lord knows me and loves me. And for that reason only, God deserves my praise.

I’ve heard several renditions of this beloved song, but the All Souls Orchestra and Matt Redman created a mystifying, ethereal performance that will leave tears of praise in your eyes as the audience and choir sing in harmony. The performance quickly went viral, with over 100,000 views and hundreds of comments from all over the world. One viewer sums it this performance best, “That is awesome!  All those voices singing in full voice!!! A small taste of Heaven.  What a day that will be!”

I couldn’t agree more. I hope this beautiful song blesses your day!

Psalm 103:1 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!”

“Two Becoming One” Beautiful Christian Wedding Song

Check out this sweet video with Johnathan and Emily Martin as they sing “Two Becoming One,” their beautiful Christian wedding song. Released in February 2017, Jonathan and Emily wrote a song that set to music many of the scriptures related to marriage. The song has been played at countless weddings, and it’s easy to see why.

Jonathan and Emily met as students at Belmont University in Nashville, and they married in 2010. They began their ministry after marrying, singing with friends in a group called Mosaic. While Mosaic members all remain fast friends, the group of creatives married, started families, and went on to build solo/duet musical careers.

Among their many artistic passions, Jonathan and Emily have a desire to encourage Godly marriages. Johnathan released a solo pop project to celebrate the gift of marriage and the beauty of self-sacrificing love in 2020—in recognition of their own 10th anniversary.

Couples choosing “Two Becoming One” for their ceremony or reception certainly have a great understanding of God's purpose and design for marriage. The lyrics are inspirational and instructional. The voices are lovely.

And, here, the Martins add a moving montage of newlyweds, dads and daughters, and wedding parties to their music, and the result is an inspirational and touching video!

Here are a few lines from “Two Becoming One”:

Here's my promise
I'm yours to hold
I'll stay here by your side

We are two becoming one

Amidst the gorgeous images of girls in gowns, don’t miss the sweetest first look at 2:35. It is precious! Then, watch another guy at 3:05 when he embraces his bride after seeing her ready for their big day. The video captures that couple as they pray with their closest family and friends. That is truly the foundation on which marriage should start!

Thanks, Jonathan and Emily, for writing and performing a song that provides a reset—a focus—for Christ-loving couples who marry this year and in years to come!

Yodeling Band Performs ‘Church In The Wildwood’ In Empty Church

A group of musicians showed their unique singing ability with their beautiful rendition of “Church in the Wildwood.”

Music is something that is constantly changing and evolving. Bands and musicians play and tinker with instruments, creating new sounds. They may also combine two distinct, seemingly unrelated genres of music. Other times, musicians may add something new to an old, beloved classic tune, trying to make it their own.

In a video posted on YouTube, the Hudson Harmony Band, a group of musicians, incorporated an old and rarely heard type of singing, yodeling, into their performance of “Church in the Wildwood.”

The short clip begins with a young woman showing off her impressive vocal skills. She yodels for a few notes, helping to set the tone for what is to come from her and her fellow musicians.

“There’s a church in the valley by the Wildwood
No lovelier place in the dale
No spot is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the dale”

At about the 2-minute mark, there is even more yodeling. But this time, another young woman joins in on the fun. She, like the young woman before her, has been blessed with the ability to sing in an underappreciated way.

But that’s far from the only thing viewers and listeners get from this delightful performance. The Hudson Harmony Band shows off their stunning harmonies. Several instruments, including a harmonica, also make an appearance in the clip.

As their performance of “Church in the Wildwood” perfectly illustrates, the Hudson Harmony Band is a supremely talented group of musicians. According to their YouTube channel, the band is made up of six musicians who all play at least five instruments.

Additionally, their page indicates that they perform a wide variety of music. They can play anything from “toe-tappin’ bluegrass, to majestic classical, to soul-stirring hymns, to lively Cajun, along with a folk tune or two.”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

'These Are The Days' Cory Asbury Live Performance

Check out this wonderful live performance of the song ‘These Are The Days’ by Cory Asbury.

“Hospital to home was a four-minute drive, with a baby on board, made it thirty-five, we didn’t
Sleep a wink that night, just laid by that crib singing nursery rhymes. These are the days
That we’ll want back, at the kindergarten drop off line, his first day of school didn’t even cry
That was when we knew that life had a funny way of passing us by”

What a moving and emotional song that sums up parenthood in the most poetic way. It is deeply relatable and speaks to how quickly time passes while raising children and the desire to relish every moment we get with them.

“The emotion that goes through this song is incredible,” writes one person online after watching the music video. “The truthfulness in the lyrics blows me away.”

The song ‘These Are The Days’ is one of the tracks on Cory Asbury’s upcoming album titled Pioneer. Cory talks about his new album and how his sound may have changed since the last time he released music years ago.

“I’ll always be the ‘Reckless Love’ guy, but my art has evolved,” he said. “I’ve changed. I’ve grown. And hopefully, after more than 3 years, I’ve got something new to say. After all, that is the office of the artist—to give language to the things we all feel and experience.”

Parents know that having a child is like having your heart walking around outside of your body. And this song truly encapsulates the joy of seeing them grow up and the pain of having it all pass by too quickly. We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘These Are The Days’ by Cory Asbury today!

'God Of Wonders' Mac Powell Live Performance

Check out this great video of Mac Powell giving a live performance of the song ‘God Of Wonders’ at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.

“Lord of all creation, Lord of water, earth and sky, the heavens are your Tabernacle
Glory to the Lord on high, God of wonders beyond our galaxy, You are holy, holy
The universe declares Your majesty, You are holy, holy, Lord of heaven and earth”

This beautiful song talks about God’s wonder and majesty and Him being the Lord of all creation. The lyrics celebrate the light and remind us to call on His name in the darkness. It is powerful, and it is clear to see why this popular worship song has been sung in churches all over the world for years.

‘God Of Wonders’ was written by Steve Hindalong and Marc Byrd, who are members of the Christian Rock group The Choir. The song was created for a worship project called City on a Hill, and it first appeared on the 2000 album City on a Hill: Songs of Worship and Praise performed by Mac Powell.

When talking about how the song came together, Steve Hindalong remembers it vividly. “I had a black Guild guitar that Marc used to borrow fairly often. He took it on a lone writing retreat to a cabin somewhere in Arkansas where he professes to have had a spiritual epiphany. There was something profoundly inspired about several songs he wrote on that sojourn. One of them was what would become 'God of Wonders.' He played me the chord progression, singing a few lyrics like, 'Hallelujah to the Lord of heaven and earth…' Immediately I felt soul-stirred. I sensed that it called for loftier language than we are typically inclined to use. Marc and I both tend to write very personal, introspective lyrics. But I felt like this one needed to be more transcendent – grander than us.”

Steve continued: “We both feel thankful for its inspiration, and humbled to have offered it.

It's beyond our comprehension really – this notion that the Creator, not just of our world, not just of the Milky Way, but of ALL the galaxies in the universe – wants to share an intimate relationship with each of his children.”

What an amazing truth that we hope this song reminds you of!

'I Need Thee Every Hour' Classic Hymn Performed In 3 Languages

Listen to this incredible rendition of ‘I Need Thee Every Hour,’ a classic hymn performed in three languages. What could be more beautiful and sacred than spending time worshiping the Lord in praise? Worshiping the Lord in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.

From the prayer garden in Christ Church in Jerusalem. A trio of harmonious voices lifts up the Lord in praise, all singing in their native languages. And all three reveal how we need God every moment of every hour, every day. The idea of listening to someone sing in English, Hebrew, and Arabic has been a dream of mine. I always wondered what praising the Lord sounded like in the languages spoken in the Bible like Hebrew and Arabic. Now I don’t have to imagine anymore. And neither do you.

Performers Nizar Francis, Shiri Regev, and Tal-El Regev bring us God’s worship as they praise,

“I call upon you all the days, Lord.
Hear my pleading voice merciful father
To you I long, every moment I yearn.
Bless me my Savior. Kindly commend with me, O God.”

The trio came together to perform in order to support One For Israel. This ministry… “is a cutting edge, dynamic evangelism initiative that seeks to compellingly share the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) with Israeli Jews and Arabs in the Hebrew language, with an emphasis on media and internet within the ancient land of Israel.”

The result of this ministry is people around the world praising God and praying for Israel. The video has gone viral with over 18,000 views and hundreds of comments from all over the world, like Ireland, Indonesia, and Chile. Can you believe how many hearts were ignited in blessing the Lord as they listened to this performance?

One viewer commented, “That was so beautiful! Praise Jehovah God for the Blessings He gives us daily, whether we see them or not.” Another viewer couldn’t help but listen to this song on repeat. She wrote, “Listened 5 times to this beautiful worship song in a row praising our lord Jesus Christ, the high king, Lord of Lords. Our creator, amen.”

We hope this song blesses you and fills your soul with God’s peace as we are reminded we need Jesus and He alone provides all that we need.

Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

'Hold On’ Katy Nichole Live New York Sessions

Listen to this uplifting song of hope titled, ‘Hold On’ by Katy Nichole during live New York Sessions. If you haven’t heard the song, let’s get your heart set up for the meaning behind ‘Hold On.’

Have you ever been on a long road trip that felt like the destination would never come? But then you see a sign that says your destination is only 50 miles away. You’d think those last few miles would pass quickly but they only seem to crawl by. The last leg of our trip can be the hardest. The same can be said about our faith in the middle of life’s toughest circumstances. Katy reminds us that when life gets off track and we feel like giving up, that’s when we hold on the tightest to the Lord.

“Hold on just a little bit longer, I know it’s gonna be okay
These days are gonna make you stronger. You’ll find purpose in the pain
Hold on just a little bit longer. Deep down, there’s a well of faith
Let hope arise as you’re lifting up my name. And just hold on, hold on, hold on.”

What an incredible song! It reminds us that no matter what we are going through, even if the end isn’t in sight, God is holding onto us as we hold onto Him! Even in our darkest hour, God is there, pouring his love and strength into us.

The Good Book is filled with examples of saints who cried out to God and asked, “How long?” God’s reply is “Hold on just a little longer,” because with the Lord, a thousand years are like a day in His courts (2 Peter 3:8-9). But that doesn’t mean His help and answers are a long way off. He answers in His perfect timing. In the meantime, we can lift our voices in sing the lyrics to Katy’s strength-filled song, ‘Hold on.’

May this song encourage you to ground yourself in your faith as you wait for help from the Lord.

Psalms 121:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
