A group of skilled and gifted vocalists sang what is arguably the most beloved and iconic hymn of all time.
Hymns, because of their touching, moving and truth-filled lyrics, are powerful pieces of music. When listening to such classics as “How Great Thou Art,” “It is Well” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” it’s no wonder why they have been performed in churches for decades.
However, as powerful and beloved as those aforementioned hymns are, there is one that stands out among the rest. For most people, it likely only takes a few notes before they immediately recognize “Amazing Grace.”
“Amazing Grace” has been played and performed millions of times but it never ever loses its power. The song’s message about God’s grace, love and forgiveness is as fresh and moving now as it was when you first heard it.
In a clip posted to YouTube, the Gaither Vocal Band performs “Amazing Grace.” The guys’ rendition is awe-inspiring, stirring and stellar. They put on a powerful performance that perfectly displays the strength of their voices.
Also, in a way to differentiate from the thousands of other times the song has been performed throughout the years, the musicians change things up a bit. The musicians accompanying the vocalists give the tune an Irish/Scottish sound and feel at the beginning and at the end.
Additionally, at approximately the 1:55-minute mark in the clip, the musicians change things up again. They pick up the tempo, giving it an almost patriotic feel and sound.
Regardless of the slight variation in sound, the song’s powerful and moving lyrics remain the same. This clip is another in a long line of beautiful and touching performances of the hymn that is near and dear to the hearts of many, “Amazing Grace.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
A country music legend put her unrivaled talents to work when she sang about Jesus Christ and her relationship with Him.
For decades, Reba McEntire has thrilled audiences with her unbelievable talent and beautiful voice. Her enormously successful career has been highlighted by such chart-topping hits as “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia,” “Fancy” and “Does He Love You.”
However, instead of singing about broken or strained human relationships, Reba sang about Jesus Christ in an appearance at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee.
In a clip posted to YouTube, the “Because of You” singer walked out onto a darkened stage to a packed crowd while belting out the lyrics to “Jesus Loves Me.”
She sings the simple but beloved song about Christ’s unconditional love as the lights soon come up. The crowd absolutely loves it! They give her a hearty round of applause, while Reba acknowledges their reaction and takes a gracious bow.
The music quickly picks up and Reba goes right into a performance of her song “I’ve Got the Lord on My Side.” Reba sings the song’s catchy and toe-tapping lyrics, which explains the massive grin on her face and her cheerful, happy demeanor.
She’s got the Lord on her side, the musician and actress sings.
“If you see this big ol’ happy grinnin’ smile on my face
It’s cause I’m happy, I got the Lord on my side
Oh, I’m smilin’, I got the Lord on my side
In the song, she then directs listeners to take a series of actions, if they are happy also. Listeners are instructed to stomp, clap and sing. It sounds like there are several people who are joyful in the audience. They clap right on cue with Reba and the other musicians on stage.
What an terrific clip of a massively popular musician at the top of her game who uses her talents to praise the Lord!
Psalm 118:6 “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?”
Check out this wonderful worship performance of the song ‘Jesus Will Outshine Them All’ by the group Canton Junction.
“Oh, what glory awaits me in Heaven's bright city when I get there, such sights to behold.
A million scenes of rare beauty will demand that I view them; still, Jesus will outshine them all!
Mansions will glisten on the hills of Glory, happy reunions on streets of gold;
Angel choirs singing glad praises forever, but Jesus will outshine them all.”
This great worship performance by Canton Junction was performed live at Cornerstone Church Praise Center in San Antonio, Texas back in 2018. The group does a beautiful job singing this amazing song together, and it is so lovely to hear all of their voices blend together. What a stunning song with an incredible message.
“This is wonderfully put together,” writes one person on YouTube after watching the music video. “Jesus will outstand them all. Bless our singers that bring us such joy.”

Watch this live performance of ‘My Jesus’ by Anne Wilson and be encouraged by the wonderful message of the song.
“Are you past the point of weary, is your burden weighing heavy
Is it all too much to carry, let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus
Do you feel that empty feeling ‘cause shame’s done all its stealing
And you’re desperate for some healing , let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus”
This powerful song was performed live in Kentucky, and it is incredible to see all of those people praising the name of Jesus together.
Anne Wilson has shared her testimony of how the unexpected death of her older brother not only brought about this song, but also brought her closer to God and revealed His calling for her life.
In 2017, Anne Wilson lost her brother to a horrific car accident, and she remembers God speaking to her right after her father shared with her the tragic news.
“I heard God say to me, clear as day, ‘Anne, are you going to trust Me?’ I turned around right in that room, and I spoke to Jesus, and I said ‘Jesus, I trust you,’” shared Anne Wilson. “All of a sudden, the weight of death was lifted fully off my shoulders, and I felt like I could breathe. I had this assurance that God was going to pull me through this tragedy to the other side.”
Then at her brother’s funeral, God gave her the strength and courage to perform in front of an audience for the first time. “I sat down to play, and God said, ‘this is what I’m calling you to do. I’m calling you to praise and worship my name,’” she said. Up until that point, I have never dreamed of being a singer or singing for God.”
What an amazing song and testimony. God bless Anne Wilson and how she uses her gifts to bring God glory!

A group of talented musicians turned in a dazzling performance of a beloved song at a historic venue.
Material possessions, through natural wear and tear, break down and decompose. They do not last forever. Everything has a shelf life and an expiration date. However, memories and lasting impressions stick with us much longer than anything that can be purchased or bought in a store.
Brothers of the Heart, a band of supremely gifted and skilled musicians, sang “Precious Memories” at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. As the song’s title implies, the track is about those priceless items that have absolutely no shelf life and don’t expire: memories.
In the video posted on YouTube, the guys sing about reflecting upon dear memories from years past. They mention how, over the years, these special memories from their younger years have come to mean so much to them.
The song, based on lyrics in the second verse, appears to be about dealing with the loss of a dearly beloved parent and cherishing those moments with them. The second verse mentions a “precious father,” a “loving mother” and “old home scenes of my childhood.”
None of us know how much longer the good Lord will permit us to remain on earth. However, as the song points out, the time spent with loved ones and the memories created in the process are precious.
Nothing will ever replace a father, a mother, a brother, a sister or a dear friend when they depart this earth. That’s why those memories and moments with them are so, so valuable. We all have a limited amount of time. It's best to spend that invaluable asset wisely.
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.”
A lovely vocal performance of a beautiful hymn serves as a terrific reminder of how much God loves and cares for humanity.
Many people struggle with feeling alone, unwanted and unworthy of being loved. People are often fooled into believing that no one cares and that their existence and life are meaningless. These troubling thoughts and feelings can result in several problems and issues.
However, no matter what someone may be feeling and what they might be going through, there is One who loves and cares. God thought it important enough to create you and put you in this world.
In a video posted on YouTube, The Getty Girls sing, “I am not my Own,” which reminds us how much each individual matters to God. Psalm 139:13 mentions that “God knit me together in my mother’s womb.” The following verse adds that “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
The song’s opening verse points out that God loves us. We are a part of “His creation” and a piece of the “Maker’s masterpiece.” Our bodies are a temple of the “Living God,” the song adds.
Being a member of God’s creation requires that we honor Him with our bodies because, as the chorus mentions, they are not our own. They belong to the Creator of the Heavens and the earth.
“I belong to the Lord, oh I am not my own
I belong to the Lord, I am not my own
I will honor Him for this I know”
What a beautiful and wonderful thought! Yes, we belong to God. Yes, we matter because He loves us and spent time creating us. Every person has worth. God does not make mistakes.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
My little musical rendition of the blessing God gave Moses to say to the people of Israel.
The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face shine upon you
And be gracious unto you, unto you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you
And give you His peace
Give you His peace
