Soul-Stirring A Cappella Version of ‘What A Friend We Have In Jesus’

Prepare to be blessed by this one-man band’s incredible video. At the start of this video, a tenor vocalist named Sam Robson sings out a cappella. Immediately, you notice his pure tone of voice. He adds his own harmonies, and his vocals will soothe you as you reflect on the friend you have in Christ. This is a soul-stirring, a cappella version of ‘What A Friend We Have in Jesus.’

There is such a stunning peace that comes over a believer in knowing that Jesus sees them. He sings with such authentic worship. You can see how the lyrics mean so much to this young man as he expresses his heart through song.

The harmonies selected for this performance are unexpected but not overdone. They are wonderful and will have you wanting to hear more. There are more and more boxes of this one-man band added throughout the video. He has such creativity with how he even performs instrumentals with his voice. It is impressive and encouraging to anyone viewing it. You will feel as if you have been invited into the throne room of God to worship and celebrate His love and care that He has provided.

This one man’s voice and percussion are equivalent to the skills of a regular-sized choir. He has provided such a high level of skills. It will blow you away in awe of God but also cause you to rest and relax in His presence, knowing that He is your friend. It is easy to love any version of this classic hymn, but this is a unique way that you may never have heard it before, and it will be a blessing in your day to take a moment and savor.

“You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:14-15

Quartet’s Powerful Rendition of ‘Revive Us Again’

Prepare to be uplifted by this beautiful acapella performance. A quartet’s powerful rendition of ‘Revive Us Again.’Check out this encouraging rendition of ‘Revive Us Again’ by The Messengers Quartet. Sherwin Martin, Michael Horst, Trevor Drudge, and Travis Drudge gave an inspiring performance.

The vocals are strong right from the start and are in a four-part harmony. Each part is done with confidence and style. The bass vocals really stand out for how low of notes he is hitting with ease. All four young men blend beautifully. You will feel empowered in your faith hearing these men sing. It is as if they are vocal warriors for Christ, singing about the victory that we have in Him.

These sharp-dressed and clean-cut young men will remind you of the hope that we have for the next generation. God is still working and putting passion and zeal for His gospel in the hearts of young people. You see clips of the group up in front of a small church and then moments where they are sitting in the pews singing. These men sing some incredibly difficult and unexpected notes that resolve. You never know exactly where they are going to go with their harmonies, it is so amazing.

As we listen to this song, may it remind us of the joy in how Jesus has rescued us from sin, but each day we can ask Him to fill us up and revive us again. We can have renewed excitement for Him and His Word. May this be our reminder today to be revived in Christ again.

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation. Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly.”  Psalm 85:6-8

Dan + Shay Stunning 'Silent Night' Cover

Prepare for a beautiful country spin on a favorite Christmas song. Check out this beautiful video of Dan + Shay performing a stunning ‘Silent Night’ cover. These vocals will take your breath away.

At the start of this incredible song, the first vocalist begins singing the verse acapella. It is a holy and reverent moment pondering the birth of our Savior Jesus. There is a sound of stunning vocal runs. His voice is angelic and crisp. He belts with effortless ease. It is so wonderful to hear.

The second verse has the duo singing in beautiful harmonies still acapella. They blend beautifully. The two have such poise and a wonderful blend. They continue into the third verse, and it will give you chills to listen to their rendition of “Silent Night.” You will feel as if you are at a candlelight Christmas service in your own church. It feels personal and authentic in the way that it is dark and just the two of them singing in front of the camera.

This clip reminds us that there was nothing flashy about Jesus’ entry into the world. He was born in Bethlehem and placed in a wooden manger. As we listen to the words of this timeless Christmas hymn, may we be in awe of the birth of our Savior Jesus who humbled Himself to become a man and started as a newborn baby. This song will remind us of the majesty that is found in the simplicity of that wonderful silent night when Jesus was born.

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.”  Luke 7:6-7

Stunning A Cappella Rendition of 'Jesus, Name Above All Names'

One man turned in a stunning and captivating a cappella rendition of the beloved hymn “Jesus, Name Above All Names.” It’s a charming musical performance; it’s likely to be one that you will return to repeatedly. Be sure to watch and listen to this clip.

Everyone is an individual, and so everyone has been blessed with a particular set of skills and abilities. Of course, not everyone will be blessed in the same areas and fields. Those gifts and talents are unique to each person and intended to bring glory and honor to His name.

For instance, someone skilled musically would sing or play an instrument to perform a hymn or a gospel song for all to hear. That makes sense, right? Even those who aren’t great singers can still join in and sing a song of praise and worship. However, depending on your skill level and lack of musical talent, it may be best to sing only when alone (No judgment if this describes you; I firmly belong in this category).

A clip posted on YouTube showcases one young man using his incredible musical talent to praise, worship and honor the Lord. He performs the classic hymn “Jesus, Name Above All Names” without the accompaniment of instruments. Instead, using only the power and beauty of his voice, he sings out about the wonderful, powerful and mighty name of Jesus.

“Jesus, name above all names

Beautiful Savior, glorious Lord

Emmanuel, God is with us

Blessed Redeemer, Living Word”

Yes, it’s only about a minute long, but it’s a video and performance that perfectly captures the beauty of those lyrics. No matter how old that hymn is, that tune will never become irrelevant. Jesus is the name above all names. Without Him and His sacrifice on the cross, none of us would have a chance, a hope or a future.

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory—such glory as is given to an only song by his father—saw it to be true and full of grace.”

Stunningly Beautiful 'Amazing Grace' A Cappella Cover

Four incredibly gifted vocalists turned in a stunningly beautiful a cappella cover of 'Amazing Grace.' 'Amazing Grace' is without a doubt the most beloved, well-known hymn of all time, and this rendition is absolutely outstanding. You’ll want to watch and listen to this clip repeatedly.

Hymns are some of the most beautiful pieces of music. Unfortunately, they are also some of the most underutilized, with many places of worship moving away from them. Despite being hundreds of years old in some cases, they are still as relevant today as they were when they were first penned. Those tunes remain powerful, still moving people to tears even if they’ve heard a particular hymn hundreds of times.

Even if people and churches were to abandon hymns completely (I hope that never happens), one hymn would remain. 'Amazing Grace' is a universally beloved, thoroughly covered and played hymn, often bringing many people to tears before its first verse is over.

In a clip posted on YouTube, four singers show off their immense musical talent with a stunning cover of 'Amazing Grace.' All four individuals sing with so much emotion, perfectly capturing the power and meaning of those lyrics. It’s a lovely and dazzling performance.

'Amazing grace, how sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me

I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind, but now I see'

'Amazing Grace' remains so popular and is still a popular target for the cover treatment because of its powerful and impactful lyrics. Those words accurately describe a situation in which all followers of Christ have found themselves at one time or another. We’re all the beneficiaries of God’s amazing grace. We were all lost at one time or another, but because of His love and mercy, we’ve been forgiven.

Ephesians 2:8 “Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God.”

Lyric Video For Mac Powell's Moving 'The 99'

In the lyric video for Mac Powell’s moving ‘The 99’ we hear a powerful call to reach out to those who are lost, alone, and in need of God’s love. We’ve all been there, we feel our souls warm with God’s tenderness as we imagine ourselves being the one that Jesus left the ninety-nine to find.

Jesus’ parable inspires the lyrics in Luke 15:4-7 where the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine sheep to go after the one that is lost. It’s a vivid reminder of God’s relentless pursuit of every soul, no matter how far we may stray. It’s a reminder when our heart hurts for friends and loved ones who are lost as we pray that God moves in their lives and brings them into the fold.

Mac Powell’s soul-filled, passionate voice highlights the urgency and compassion in God’s call to care for those who are lost, hurting, broken, and far from home. He reminds us that our purpose as believers isn’t to sit idly by, and wait for people to come to us. We’re called to go out and go after the one–just as Jesus did when He left the comfort of heaven to save the world.

When we hear the call of ‘The 99’, we’re being invited into the greatest mission of all: to help others find their way back to the Father. It’s a mission we can fulfill with every kind word and act of compassion for those who are lost. Thank God that He sought us out and called us to Him when we were lost. May we be the hands and feet of Jesus for those God puts in our lives. May this soulful song fill you up with gratitude and praise that you were lost and now you’re found!

John 15:4-7 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
