When Christians come together in unity across racial/ethnic, generational and denominational lines, it's a whole new song that's created. There are some worship songs that stand the test of time, and ‘Because He Lives’ is one of them. Check out this moving a cappella rendition of 'Because He Lives.'

At the start of the clip, we see four men seated on a couch in a dimly lit room. They start the chorus. The lead singer has such depth and richness in his voice. The harmonies of the quartet are tight and unique. They have such a cool flare of vocal lines. They are singing this victorious song on Easter Sunday. As they sing, “All fear is gone,” the bass hits low notes that are extremely challenging to hit. Watching this performance will leave you in awe of the talent of these men, given by God for His glory.

I love how each of these singers are of different ages and have various stories, but they are all united because of Jesus. Christ has changed all of their hearts, and they sing about Him together. This is one of the best renditions of “Because He Lives” that you may ever hear. It is absolutely stunning and powerful. It is “chill-worthy.” These are seasoned and very gifted vocalists who have come together to use the natural acoustics of a room to bring the house down. You will not be disappointed at a single second of listening to their musicality and unique abilities.

This quartet reminds us that no matter what we have going on in our lives, Jesus is alive and we have hope to face an uncertain future on earth, because we know that we have a secure future in heaven through Him. This is good news that is not only for Easter day, but for every day in the life of a Christian. Because Jesus lives, life is worth living.

This a cappella recording of a classic ancient hymn utilizes 16 tracks of vocal parts by Dan Adler. This hymn has some of the most poignant poetry and vocal arrangements of any hymn of all time. What an incredible song with a wonderful message. The lyrics remind us about the power of prayer and how important it can be in every aspect of our lives.

“I love this song so much. I can tell you right now, I wouldn’t be here, right now, if somebody wasn’t praying for me, and that’s my mama! She’s my first text, she’s my first call. Mama’s praying right now, I betcha, and I need it!” David Crowder shares in a video on Facebook.

He continues on to talk about his song ‘Somebody Prayed’ and the message behind it. “Prayer changes things. For me, I’m telling you, I know I’ve seen miracles in front of me. I’m like, ‘Man, there’s no way. God, you gotta come through.’ And then He does,” he says. “And man, without prayer, as I said, I wouldn’t be here right now. I could tell you that. That’s personal experience. So this song right here is about hitting your knees and knowing that prayer works. It’s effective.”

Prayer is such a gift in that it is a way that we can communicate with our loving Heavenly Father. He is always there to listen to us when we pray, and it is always available to us, no matter our circumstances. Also, the peace that can come from prayer surpasses understanding. We hope that this song was a reminder of that for you today.

A handful of genuinely talented musicians, Jesus Culture and Marie Elizabeth, turned in a powerful, awe-inspiring rendition of “What a Beautiful Name.”

If not for the inexplicable love and forgiveness offered by Jesus Christ, none of us would have a chance. We would all be condemned to live out our days on Earth in our sin and shame. Human beings are imperfect and fallen creatures, corrupted by sin.

However, God had a plan to bridge the gap that sin created between human beings and Him. He sent His one and only Son to Earth as a sacrifice to take our place upon that wretched and cursed tree. He suffered so that we may have forgiveness and experience everlasting life with Him.

What incredible love that would have required to endure such an agonizing and humiliating death for you and me. We surely don’t and didn’t do anything to deserve such a gift and sacrifice. Jesus willingly laid down His life, the greatest gesture of love. He did what only He could have done.

Marie Elizabeth and Jesus Culture sing “What a Beautiful Name.” The tune is about the extraordinary love of Jesus Christ. The song explains how He went to the cross and won the ultimate and forever victory over death and sin.

The chorus is simple yet so true.

That victory Christ won over death and sin is offered to us today. The Bible states that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, you will be saved.

What a beautiful and powerful name it is, indeed. Jesus is the name above all names.
