Father-Daughter Duet To ‘Nessun Dorma’ At Church

A talented father and daughter performed a beautiful duet in church.

Music can cause people to experience a wide range of emotions and feelings. Sounds can have a profound and lasting impact. Lyrics, even those in another language, can evoke an emotional reaction in listeners. The beauty of music is essentially universal.

That was the case when Adrian and Emma-Jean, a father and daughter act, sang together in a church. In a video posted to YouTube, the pair sang “Nessun Dorma.” It's a dazzling and captivating performance, even if you do not understand a word the two are singing.

Their voices are beautiful. Both are obviously very talented singers, but the daughter outshines her dad throughout the performance. On several occasions, she reaches back and hits high note after high note, showing her absurd and shocking musical ability.

The audience is also thoroughly impressed. They show appreciation by giving the duo a much-deserved round of applause. Several in the audience even decide to go one further and give them a standing ovation.

The applause goes on for nearly 30 seconds!

A few members of the audience even started chanting that they “want more” from Adrian and Emma-Jean. They want to hear more from the singers blessed with angelic voices.

The audience members were not the only people who enjoyed the operatic performance. The video’s description on YouTube, posted and written by the singers, reads, “We had a wonderful time visiting our family and performing for such an appreciative crowd!”

“Nessun Dorma,” according to Classical-Music.com, is an Italian aria and its title translates to “let no one sleep.” The site adds that “Nessun Dorma” gained worldwide popularity after Italian opera singer Luciano Pavarotti performed the song in the 1990s during the World Cup.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.”

When God Made You My Mother’ Riley Roth Music Video

One talented country music singer performs a song about her mother and how blessed she is to have that woman in her life.

Motherhood is not an easy task. Children come with a lot of demands, requirements and needs. Being a mom is a 24-hour job with no weekends, vacations or holidays. The pay is not always the best, but the payoff, seeing your child grow up to become a loving, caring and considerate adult is the ultimate reward.

In the song “When God Made You My Mother,” Riley Roth sings to and about her mother. She mentions how much her mother has done for her and how the good Lord blessed her with a wonderful person to be her mom.

In the song’s opening verse, Riley hints at how mothers are never off the clock and the constant attention children often need. Especially when children are young, parents have a hard time finding a minute to themselves. However, instead of getting upset or frustrated, Riley sings how her mother allowed her to be her shadow, “following wherever you would go.”

But the song’s chorus will cause all the mothers to reach for the box of tissues. The lyrics state that while Riley got a little older, she never mentioned how much she cared, loved and adored her mother. So, now she’s taking this opportunity to express her feelings to her mom.

“When God made you my mother
He was bein’ good to me”

The chorus also adds that God knew exactly the type of woman Riley would need in her life. He also knew, Riley sings, that this woman would become Riley’s hero.

Later, Riley also states how her mother constantly tells her she’s a gift from Heaven above, but she doesn’t see it that way. Instead, Riley sings she is the one blessed with a wonderful and loving mother.

Proverbs 23:25 “Let your father and your mother be glad! Let her who bore you rejoice!”

Bluegrass Gospel Band Performs ‘Keep On The Sunny Side’

A talented group of bluegrass musicians performed a classic song about trouble and strife.

In life, problems, issues and other situations that result in pain and suffering occur. Often those hurdles and obstacles crop up unexpectedly and through no fault of our own. But staying with the Lord, seeking his help and guidance, can and will make those situations much more bearable.

In a video posted to YouTube, The Brandenberger Family performs a terrific rendition of “Keep on the Sunny Side.” The old but beloved song is clear that all will face problems. However, the lyrics also mention that those trials and storms will not last forever.

In the video for the song posted to YouTube, the musicians play a variety of instruments. There is a bass guitar, while one young woman plays the violin and a second girl strums along on the fiddle. In addition to the three young ladies each playing an instrument, they also lend their beautiful voices, singing the lyrics to the classic song.

The song’s opening verse informs listeners that there are essentially two paths in life: a dark and troubled side and a bright and sunny one. The song then instructs listeners to remain on the sunny side of life because “it will help us every day” and will “brighten all our way.”

Near the conclusion, in the third and final verse, the musicians and songwriter share some helpful advice. The lyrics advise listeners to keep a positive attitude when facing the day and trust in the Lord.

“Let us greet with a song of hope each day
Though the moment be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our Savior always”

The musicians pull off a cover that is very pleasing to the ear. Well done!

2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brothers, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.”

Girls Chamber Choir Sings Original Hymn ‘Dear Lord We Thank You For This Day’

Several young ladies displayed their musical talents when they sang about the Lord’s love, guidance and protection.

No one enjoys someone constantly asking for things, never appreciative of what they have been given in life. Instead, a simple “thank you” is usually the right move in most situations. Most people, especially in the United States, are blessed beyond measure. However, a lot of people want more, more and more.

In a clip posted to YouTube, the St. Bede’s Catholic High School Ormskirk Chamber Choir performed “Dear Lord We Thank You for This Day.”

Throughout the song, the young women exhibit an attitude of gratefulness as they continually thank the Lord. They praise and thank Him for His guidance, love and the many blessings they enjoy. Also, as the song title indicates, they praise God for giving them another day on Earth.

“Dear Lord we thank you for this day
Be by our side now with us we pray
Where this is darkness may Your light shine forever”

While the girls praise and thank the Lord for the many ways in which He has touched their lives, they also make requests that they bring to Him. They ask Him for strength, to continually be teaching and refining them and that He never leaves their side.

The Lord blesses greatly all who ask. In Matthew, Jesus instructs the crowd and the disciples to “ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find.” But it’s also good to stop and think about the ways in which the Lord has already freely given. More praise and gratitude for those blessings will never be out of order. In fact, we will never be able to adequately thank Him.

This performance is an excellent reminder of all the Lord’s many blessings in our lives.

Ephesians 5:20 “Giving thanks always to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

‘Still God’ Anne Wilson Official Audio Video

A Grammy-nominated artist performs a beautiful song about holding onto and trusting God throughout life’s many trials and storms.

Faith and trust are two things required in abundance in the Christian’s walk. The journey will not always be easy, and the destination will be murky, at times. On the road of life will come potholes, detours and other obstacles that will make things interesting, to say the least. It’s at these times a Christian’s faith and trust in God will be tested and stretched.

In her song “Still God,” Anne Wilson mentions that despite these trying and difficult circumstances, her faith remains in Him, even when there is much uncertainty. The song’s opening verses eloquently describe a place many people find themselves in at different times.

Anne points out that she has just gone through a situation that has left her heart hurting and broken. She has many questions, and the pain is still great. However, she remains committed to God, and Anne has made a decision to believe in the faithfulness of Him.

The song’s chorus perfectly encapsulates the power and faithfulness of God. Even when we are unable to see it, He is still working.

“You’re still God
You’re still good
You’re still making a way”

In the following verse, Anne sings that while she may be enduring a dark period, a valley in life, she has that peace that surpasses all understanding. She is holding onto God’s promise that He will never leave or forsake us, as is mentioned throughout God’s Word.

Anne’s song is a terrific reminder that even while struggling and battling through challenging situations, God is still at work. He is still in control and is still faithful. He understands what is going on and has a plan, better than anything we could ever imagine.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not seen are true.”

‘Plead The Blood’ Christ Davenport, Brandon Lake And Cody Carnes

A group of talented musicians sang a track about the awe-inspiring power of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Christ willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice, as our replacement, to endure a painful and undeserving execution on the cross. His death, the blood He shed for all humanity and His resurrection, changed the entire direction of the world forever. His ultimate sacrifice all those years ago is still changing lives today.

In the song, “Plead the Blood", Chris Davenport, Brandon Lake and Cody Carnes sing about the power of Christ’s shed blood.

In the song’s first verse, the musicians mention that Christ’s blood provides protection. Instead of being subjected to the enemy’s hideous and destructive plans, the thief will spot Christ’s blood on the doorframe and flee, according to the song.

Additionally, the musicians add that the enemy will not be able to “take my family.” The people who reside in the house with Christ’s blood on the door love, worship and belong to the Lord. In the song’s chorus, the guys point out that Christ’s blood is sufficient, meeting all their life’s needs.

“I plead the blood
I plead the blood of Jesus
It’s more than enough”

Near the song's conclusion, the musicians point out the power of Christ’s blood to change lives, even to this day. It washes away all sins and makes the broken whole once again. The song adds that there is peace, hope and a future after the blood washes away the sin.

Praise the Lord for the life-changing and saving blood of Jesus Christ!

Exodus 12:23 “For the Lord will go through the land, sending death on the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the two sides and the top of the door, the Lord will go over your door and will not let death come in for your destruction.”

‘Grace to Grace’ Hillsong UNITED Live Performance

A group of gifted musicians performed a song about the grace, love and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without Christ's love, mercy and grace, no one would have a chance at everlasting life. Everyone would be condemned and lost, forced to live a life of sin and shame. Instead, One came, paid a debt with His life and rose again, forever changing the trajectory of the world.

In a clip posted to YouTube, the group Hillsong UNITED performs “Grace to Grace.”

In the track’s opening verse, the musicians mention Christ’s excruciating and undeserving execution upon the cross. His blood was shed for the entire world as His hands, feet and sides were pierced. A crown of thorns was placed on his head. He willingly took on the sins and shame of humanity.

Thankfully, Christ, whose body was placed in the tomb, rose once again. He won the victory over sin and death. The song’s chorus mentions how Christ’s death and resurrection paid our debt. He took our place.

“My chains are gone
My debt is paid
From death to life
And grace to grace”

Now, because of Christ’s resurrection and victory over death and sin, the cross is no longer associated with death, the musicians sing. Now, the cross, where His blood was shed, is a symbol of freedom and the life found in Jesus Christ.

Christ’s death and resurrection changed and are still changing lives today. His love, mercy and grace were so great that he was willing to go through all of that for everyone. Because of Him and His death, anyone and everyone can spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:9  “And he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weakness, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”

Anne Wilson - My Jesus

Listen to this performance by Anne Wilson of her song ‘My Jesus.’

“Are you past the point of weary? Is your burden weighin' heavy? Is it all too much to carry?
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus. Do you feel that empty feeling? 'Cause shame's done
All its stealin', and you're desperate for some healin', let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
He makes a way where there ain't no way, rises up from an empty grave”

This incredible song was written after Anne Wilson experienced the great loss of her brother, Jacob, when he died from a horrific car accident.

"It was so tragic," Anne Wilson said. "He was my best friend. That's actually how I started singing and how I got into music, and that's why I wrote the song 'My Jesus.'"

The song also relates to many other people who have suffered a loss, and Anne Wilson shared about the stories that people have told her when it comes to how much the song means to them.

"I've had a lot of really incredible responses to that song," she said. "The ones that stand out are really stories of people saying they lost a loved one years ago, and that they turned away from the Lord and that they resented God. They were angry at Him, and when this song came out, they all of a sudden let go of their anger towards the Lord. I think there's something really hard about losing a loved one. When you lose a loved one, you have to learn how to trust God. This song, 'My Jesus,' is encouraging people to do that. It's just a really powerful thing for me."

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this performance of ‘My Jesus’ by Anne Wilson today!

Chris Tomlin - Holy Forever

Listen to this beautiful worship performance of Chris Tomlin’s song ‘Holy Forever.’

“A thousand generations falling down in worship to sing the song of ages to the Lamb
And all who've gone before us and all who will believe, will sing the song of ages
To the Lamb, Your name is the highest, Your name is the greatest, Your name stands
Above them all, all thrones and dominions, all powers and positions”

What an incredible song and wonderful worship performance! It moves you to worship the Lord and remember His faithfulness throughout the generations.

This powerful song from Chris Tomlin invites us to engage in something that is far bigger than us – eternal worship to our Heavenly Father.

"I just tried to capture a piece of Heaven in this song that never ends, this eternal song,” shares Chris Tomlin. “What's amazing is that there is an eternal song and we know the lyrics. It’s 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.' That's what the Bible says throughout, and in Revelation, it says, 'Day and night, they never stopped saying it.’”

The song ‘Holy Forever’ was released in September 2022 as part of Chris Tomlin’s album titled Always.

“The idea is that we think about ‘always’ as that of eternal, everlasting, infinite,” says Chris Tomlin as he shares about the meaning behind the album’s title. “That’s who God is. And reminding people that we serve a God who is faithful, even if we’re faithless. He is faithful to us. He’s an Always God.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this worship performance of Chris Tomlin’s song ‘Holy Forever’ today.
